I remembered when I almost give up for bowing my 4th string always slip off since I try it for several month and nothing change, I think deeply why It can happened. I take rest for playing violin about 1 weeks and I buy quite expensive rosin, suddenly I can bow straight without slipp off my 4th string, its amazing😂

You are an amazing teacher ! In just a few minutes you show and points to the most important details of violin and bow technique ! And I do agree: tune your violin by ear. You only need a tuning fork ! Cheers !

Good morning :) so I was searching for fast string crossings, while playing ‘2 note slur, separate, separate’ in quavers. Any tips gratefully received :) it’s featured in the American folk tune devil came down to Georgia, the last four bars where there is a descending pattern starting first position on E string: ‘fgfd efec dedBb cdca Bb c Bb g a Bb ag Many thanks for any tips

Thank you the video. Can you help me? Teller 15E Adjuster Tailpiece Violin vs. Wittner Ultra Tailpiece Violin 4/4 BK. Isn’t it true that plastic tailpiece sounds less better than ebony? What’s your choice here?

If I i want to learn scales in 3rd 4ths 6ths 7ths 8ths and 10ths would there be a Galam. Method? Because I've heard many emphasis Flesch at that point, but then I feel I would be very much confused processing the fretboard. What would be the best advice? Thank you for the amazing video ❤

Hello Joy, which one has a darker sound, Obligato blue or Obligato red? And which is darker, Obligato (red or blue?) vs Infeld red? I love a dark sound like Viola.

Why is it necessary to use friction pegs, which can break, and also, the holes have to be reamed out on occasion also? Seems it would be easier to use guitar style tuners, and that to would eliminate the need for fine tuners as well, and possibly eliminate breaking strings by just not rotating as fast as a peg.

pizzicato is also made from the bow, either with the bow up or down, the important thing is where the bow jumps better, many people told me to pluck the strings with the finger like on a guitar or bass
