hello to the joy channel (April 10 we played at a concert with my teacher, duet 1 piece. "Bach bouree" one of the classmates played "Vivaldi summer" outside without sheet music and accompanying piano. How difficult it is to play such a piece, I I believe that this particular piece is based on the scale, because it has ascending scales, anyway my teacher urged me to try it in "summer" thanks joy🎻

Excellent - I was wondering about La folia - didn't seem interesting at first , but like Vivaldi slow movements it has a kind of recitative quality that is sweet once you appreciate it - your hair was long when I first saw your videos , then shorter, now long ; kind of the opposite of the allegro , andante , allegro tradition haha ❤

Hi Sedat, there are many great ways of including scales in your practisgin routine. One should try different approaches until finding the one which works the best. Rachmaninoff wrote his last solo piano work, Variations on a Theme of Corelli, in 1931 - the theme was actually La Folia, this melody. He premiered it in October 1931 here in my hometown of Montreal.
