This machine promotes precision but then you have a really bad tamping process and call it the best espresso in the world? I promise you, take a great mill, a good tamp and a gaggia classic, you will get a great espresso that beats the one shown ...

4 min is actually quite a long time IMO for heating up 150ml of water. It should ideally be done in a minute. 4 minutes basically means you won't be doing more than 1 shot at a time. Doing 2 shots in the morning (1 for the partner) would be a real hassel. I would have to wait just 8 minutes for the water to heat up.

This is so cool. Love the engineering simplicity and separation of concerns. Beautiful too. Assuming maintenance and repairability is going to be much better than taking apart a machine too!

Should have been integrated into the machine. Would love to buy a meticulous one day, but I would rather wait for an updated new model

If you think about it, in order to follow the design decisions of your espresso machine. you don't need a classic steamer. Something like nano former pro concept makes more sense. Your espresso machine is unconventional and should be paired with unconventional steamer.

I hope you guys succeed, but i feel like the price point might not be sustainable long term. Integrated scale, a robotic lever, heating element along with an array of sensors all talking to each other through software is an expensive setup.

ahhh i just wish it was thinner more like a cafe style steam wand! and maybe stainless steel for the wand since the finish is gonna wear down over time

I'm using a flair, cafelet robot machine. I think the biggest attraction of manual machines is that they allow quick and easy cleaning every day. In that sense, la pavoni was the worst. This product looks easy to clean the screen and cylinder, but I hope the piston area is also easy to clean. If it's made that way, it would be the perfect home espresso machine. I've always dreamed of someone making this kind of product. ❤❤❤
