The nutty thing about der Zu Elfefant is that he not only loves his skateboarding, RR Panzerwagon and sleek black Porsche 924 to bits, but his English accent is so correct and perfect too. Perhaps Baron zu Elfe would be more appropriate. Perfect. A bit like his ruddy filming - always perfect and always better than anyone else out there. I hope he gets to continue to make films in the future (though I suspect his girl, babies and 'normal work' may get in the way). By the way DZE - the old yeller 2-door was sadly sold...but I missed it so much I bought another in 'Sahara Dust'.🚙

Retired military here. We have three universal truths that would serve you well (you kinda hit on them already but these articulate it very clearly!). 1. "The easiest problem to fix is the one you prevent". Aka, fix the future problem before you go into the lions' den. 2. The "7 P's" ; Proper Prior Planning Prevents Pi$$ Poor Performance. Aka, plan ahead. And especially related to #2, "No plan ever survives first contact with the enemy." Aka, go in with the understanding that no matter how well you planned, something is going to NOT going to go with that plan when the rubber hits the road/gravel/sand/snow. So have more than just one plan! Well done, my man. Well done indeed. ;-)

You've come long way, that's for sure and for certain. It's important to remember that we all started out in somebody else's garage, borrowing their tools, making ignorant errors along the way, learning from our mistakes, and growing into the person we are now. Trust me, even now I'm still learning every day. Well done!

I do similar camping / overloading / fast driving mountain trips in my GR Corolla. But there is no way in Hell that I am going to completely ruin the dynamic of great car with a heavy as F Roof Rack. (especially with all the cr@p on top as well) No Thank You. I put up - shut up - put my big boy pants on - bring less crap & sleep in the back of the GRC while maintaining a great road handling car. Bonus- is that handles gravel roads quite good as well. I can see that you are bored with the project as you have completely ruined a great handling car. 🤡As an art piece!!! - Sure - I Guess - Knock yourself out...🤡
