One of the key advantages of this location is its exceptional connectivity to Greenbelt, including Glorietta, Landmark, restaurants, and grocery stores. This seamless integration allows for convenient access to various amenities without the need to venture outdoors, even during inclement weather. Good content by the way, I just sub

Yes, this I found out on accident whilst I was walking around. From here, I found my way into the chaotic food court in Landmark & thoroughly enjoyed discovering all these different outlets conveniently connected via elevated walkways & interconnecting buildings. Not at all what I was expecting when visiting Philippines for the first time.

This place was our pasyalan back then as a young worker in the late 90's. Not much traffic yet. We used to own a house in Shaw-Bonifacio in Mandaluyong and travel within Metro Manila was quick and easy at that time, but now it is so different. However, the Bus Carousel along EDSA seems to work though. Me and my family visited BGC and Makati again in 2016 and 2022. Much beautiful and lots of new buildings and skycrapers sprouting all over. Thanks for sharing your video.
@TryMyView24 күн бұрын
@rexbenemerito1943 Thanks for your input. Many of the skyscrapers still look quite new, so the skyline must have looked very different back then to how it looks now. I'd guess that a lot of memories come flooding back to you whenever you pass by.

It was a truly brilliant plan what they had for Greenbelt. Esp the landscaping. Green is always a good plan not just to draw people in, but also to make them WANT to go there. I've been to naturally green areas myself and admittedly the plants there in Greenbelt look very artificial (i.e. plants there are not naturally grown. they imported them from elsewhere and just plopped the plants there). Sadly I doubt that they are really taking care of the plants (e.g. I see the bromeliads being cut and cut and cut until they have barely and leaves anymore which indicates they will soon discard it to who-knows-where and replace it with a new one to die slowly again). The ducks in the Sto. Nino church don't look healthy as well. And the number of koi fish don't seem stable. Do they have an actual caretaker? But at least it's an effort to increase awareness of the beauty and taking care of our environment. Anyway, thank you for correctly identifying your location. Indeed, Greenbelt is in Makati City. I see other videos here (esp those of foreigners) calling everything manila just because they're walking on concrete. Ugghh. So cringe. Hopefully you will inspire more travel vloggers to be as responsible. Mabuhay!
