To believe a group of people will think like the Borg, is not reality. Individuals will always disagree and up to with their own ideas to be free. Existing without development and innovation is not living. If everyone would be complacent as designed would be boring. Eat, sleep and shit. Not perfect! Never a new idea would mean certain death. We are designers by design. Some think bigger than others.

I hope I get one of these. Gorgeous -really it’s hard to find superlatives that go overboard. Geoship is making it happen too!

On land to which my family are shareholders the trust decided to plant millions of pine trees maybe three years ago for a carbon credit scheme and logging in 30 years. They chose pines even tho they had the option to plant native trees. This is very sad bcuz where they’ve planted pinus radiata used to stand kauri forest when my grandmother was kid just 50 years ago. Kauri forest are second only to the giant seqoia forest in capacity to sequester CO2. A kauri tree can live over 2000 years but tragically most of the biggest were felled during the settlement period in the 18 and 19 hundreds. Its indigenous land but unfortunately the main objective of the trustees is to bring income to the community, which i support but pines destroy the land, in NZ they’re notorious for causing erosion, reducing groundwater, fire hazard, the slash can end up in waterways and in the harbour which is hazardous and they are practically inhospitable to native wildlife

By rewilding half the planet do you mean genociding most of humanity?

Great program. Mi country Colombia , one of the eight counties surrounding Amazon Rainforest has been working in different activities to support the collapse of the climate. One of them is approved article 8J the Governance to Indigenous Territorios. So, the CRIC has many successful activities in order to survive stopping Decarbonization & Denarcotization

Not really a flying dome like Buckminster envisioned but 300k plus you need the land calling this “regenerative”is a stretch here geodesic domes are beautiful though

I would agree that land is a severe bottleneck and for any housing scale this is true. That’s something that New Story found and why they started in Central and South Americas to (and a NASA project) to ramp scaling. Using their own financing programs. Housing as it is represents a monopoly on finance at the user level. I mean and even at this point, Geoship is almost magically affordable. As it scales, and hopefully this is the big year, that price will keep low as the housing blossoms so that more land develops. That’s a known pressure point that most housing innovations can’t absorb. I have hopes that Geoship offers true sustainability. Like they say we shall see in the next few years.

the tribes being paid are worst then colonizers because they keep other natives in modern-day enslavement with nothing just because they didnt make a fraudulent deal with the fake government of natives

Hope! For these efforts are more about saving humanity than nature for without valuing a living nature we are all destined to decline.

Thinking of the work of D.r Christine Jones on the role of the rizosphere in carbon sequestration in terrestrial grassland ecosystems, would that same process apply to seagrass meadows? I.E leaky plant roots that attract feeding organisms that help bind soil structures that build the soil food web and store carbon.

A simplified model of fairness is a network where each node has equal access to each other node. If you try this out with more than four nodes in three dimensions, you'll see that there's going to be a difference in the distances between nodes. This doesn't mean perfect fairness is impossible, it just means the complexity of delivering fairness goes up with the size of the group. There's some promise that the complexity of AI might match the complexity needed to deliver fairness, but that remains to be seen.

Uhm... it's kinda worrying that people that supposedly is doing really serious work on AI wisdom has such a basic surface level understanding of game theory, goal optimization and economics.

My point is no one just sprung up out of the ground, people migrated and conquered other peoples. In some native cultures, if you can't defend your land and resources, you don't deserve them" We gotta stop the victim mentality.@@betterworlds

@@rabidrooster6525 Good point. The issue here has more to do with how the people manage the land; and whether or not they are degrading it with reckless practices, or keeping it in a 'non-toxic', 'balanced' ecological state. That particular area is a heavy chemical based corn focused watershed, and the particular land which has been "reclaimed," aka purchased, was a U-pick-em berry farm which was also using a fair amount of aggressive pesticides. At the end of day, we are all indigenous to this planet, and it is our independent responsibility to maintain, support, whatever ecosystem we are in, regardless of bloodline.

Given the fact that the unintended consequences of a tool as powerful as facebook contributed to genocidal actions, and its usage by state + corporate actor-driven psychological warfare on innocent humans and voters, it is likely that there will be massive negative consequences; thus having a core of analysts, for risk mitigation, will be quite helpful. Ai + Greed is not a good combo.

[Long inbreath-Hold-Long outbreath] I don't even know where to start. Oh yes, a heartfelt & genuine THANK YOU... Thank you for being your magnificent selves and for sharing yourselves in this amazingly authentic, real, and oh so inspiring way. I have been working on letting my more authentic self out in the sunlight again lately, and this recording, and all of you, is a result of that. I am shaking my head and laughing quietly, because what I am feeling at this very moment is the very proof of one of the concepts that you shared in this hour long recording. This is nothing short of Fabulous! I have no idea where this will lead. But I am taking those few steps at a time. So thank you also for the confirmation that I'm stepping in the right direction! Cheers.

Fabulous exchange of thoughts and info! Bravo and thank you! And those domes are remarkable! So easy for me to imagine GEOSHIP communities, with a REGENiTECH EPL in the center, regenerative practices, not just agricultural, but health and social, and even regenerative economies. I see a most beautiful decentralization of power and a return to more nature-like connections between communities locally and globally. Just beautiful these thoughts going though in my mind, heart and soul right now. Wooooohhh. Thanks guys!
