Opposite boat as you… Im trying to make my car slightly louder as it is currently a tad loud but I want it ever so slightly louder. I currently have an 18inch vibrant. Would you say going from a 18 to a 12 would make a noticeable change in volume? If so, how much? Im hoping its not a drastic difference but a nice increase.

(Not sure to be honest ) I think the ultra quiet is closer to stock, but the regular 18” that am running gets louder in higher RPM it’s pretty much straight pipe after 5k, something like that, that’s why I like mine not too loud sounds really deep and clean, but when your on it it gets loud

Went to Scotthotrods too for mufflers as I have a muffler delete originally but it sounded like a tin can, I wanted glass pack and the 12” vibrant performance is what they put on too and it is awesome no regrets.

Started with the car doing like a choke then it went into limp mode with a Vvel sensor code, got eh sensor sorter, my tuner had to put the sensor back In range and re tune the car, thought it was fix but was doing the same thing now it’s looking like when the motor got built the cams I used are prematurely wearing out the Vvel system so it looks like I need a new engine, to swap Vvel system and head but ye man I don’t know anymore goner try replacing the motor and ye hope everything is good because I already spent so much trying to fix it and still not fix

We had an issue with one of the headlight not turning on but we took it somewhere and the guy found that the pins in the connector was bent, after that it was good done check the pins in the connector make sure it’s good

Hey man just recently got a code for p1606 and it had to do with the VVEL module I bought one used on eBay for $50 and swapped it now my car runs again no more codes

Sup bro, I did the same thing but my car still was going in to limp mode etc so with my car I guess it’s not the module honestly still trying to figure it out, might have to swap the head on my motor and just keep my built block, but ye am happy your G is back to normal, mine I have no idea what the fuck is going on

Whats your budget, theres a lot of different systems out there ( check out my video on top 15 exhaust for g37 ) that can give you some ideas, there are sound clips of each exhaust as well, but if money not a problem then I’ll recommend the motordyne full catback or the Ark grip full catback exhausts top 2 in my opinion then there’s hsk tomie FI ISR etc

Both sounds good but i gotta say the 12 sounds better to my ears (on headphones that is) but im wanting a lot more noise to my car. Doing flowmaster 80 series muffler. Staggered burnt bigger racing quad tips, 12" vibrant res and keeping cat for now and doing a high flow on a 3.4 v6. Your car is slick man!

if your only looking for around 600hp max you should be good for stock motor if you want more then you will have to build it (it cost roughly around close to 8k in parts plus labour another 5 --6 around there ) and it depends on how much of build you doing my engine got send to the states to get the block fully sleeve etc so ye price can vary all depends on the parts you buy, or if they just buying everything etc

I know there is a reset you have to do when you replace the vvel sensors, but for the module am not sure, when my tuner pulled it out and checked it and put it back I don't think he did any reprogramming but ye am not sure, you have to remove the battery so I thought with the battery out you should be good but ye am not sure I swap mine out my car still goes into limp mode but am thinking its fuel related now

yea bro i was reading around online and shit, that whenever you removed/replaced the vvel module, or vvel actuator sub assembly is removed/replaced you have got to do these relearns. i have code p1608 and i ordered the module already cause my mechanic had already inspected the actuator motors everything was fine an all that so with that being said ima do all the relearns and that myself after swapping in the new one when it arrives soon i hope ! hope all goes well with your G brother man 🤝🏽

The code I got was p1089 Vvel pos sensor bank 1 and it was my sensor was out of range my tuner fix the sensor but it was still doing it, then he was getting a module code now so I bought a module swap it out, but I am still experiencing the same problem so now I think it’s a fuel issue so I ordered a fuel pump once I get it I’ll try that and see but ye so far my car still going into limp mode etc

So it’s ok to bleed the system through radiator cap with that funnel while having the reservoir tank cap off as well?

Ye I did my car is fine it worked out the reservoir is just there if more coolant is needed I don’t think it lets air in the system that’s why you can just remove the cap and tap it up if needed
