That bike is not a “slow bike” by any means, slow bike would be a 300cc/400cc or even a twin 650 but I don’t even consider those slow bikes either. “Slower then a liter bike?” Sure lol good riding btw 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Are these max flows or Vr304's videos say different things
@ride446
@ride446 3 жыл бұрын
Both. I had maxflows on the car. Removed them for the Vr304's when I put the American Racing longtubes and mid pipes on. I have had 4 different exhaust set ups on the car to get the sound where I want it. Still a bit too loud but its close enough😄

I've got an SS but I'm thinking about putting the Vr304's on. I'm hunting for a deeper growl and not an allowed obnoxious exhaust

@@ScottKirk-Notredcrew i had to add a center muffler or resonator to get it to make a deeper tone and take out the raspyness of the LS signature sound. I lucked out finding the stainless works center muffler as they won't sell one by itself. I was a huge fan of the tone and sound of my first set up. I just didn't like the cheap headers. It had pypes brand with no cats going into a jones x-pipe resonator (basically a magnaflow knock-off) factory mid pipes into the hooker maxflow mufflers. The new set up is similar but a tad bit more bark at idle and hwy driving.

What type of cam is that from Cammotion? Stage1,2 or 3? Or the Titan series?
@ride446

It was a custom spec. I would honestly do something a little different if I were to do it again. Best bet is to call cammotion and get a spec for your specific car and goals.

I think that it is less the difference between supermoto and supersport, and more the difference between and aggressive and a passive rider. I used to run a 750, and I would be taking your lines, just because I was braking when I saw god. Pitch it in, late apex, and wring the throttle's neck as soon as you can.

did you have any problems installing those headers? I got mine in the mail a few days ago about to install them soon.
@ride446
@ride446 7 жыл бұрын
dbezzy45 no, make sure you have an 02 extension for the drivers side. i also used ARP bolts and reused the oem gaskets top and bottom. The oil dipstick sucks. When you put the passenger header on, just set it in there and put the dipstick in. the header needs to be loose so you can wiggle it around and stab the dipstick back into the pan.
@dbezzy45
@dbezzy45 7 жыл бұрын
Wes Bracken OK great that was one of my concerns with the dipstick problem. thanks man, I can't wait to throw these on.
@ride446
@ride446 7 жыл бұрын
dbezzy45 if you have someone to hold the header it helps tremendously. If not try to use a rope or bungee cord to help hold the header in place so you can move it around a little while you get the dipstick in place. Stock plug wires will work but I had to use a zip tie to keep one off the header. I purchased aftermarket wires that you can bend and they work great. Cannot remember the brand right now, sorry.

Sure, I was trying to beat as many bikes as I could to the first turn and just came in a little too hot. When this happens it is important to remain calm, look where you want to go (through the turn) and release some brake pressure to allow the bike to turn in. I should have shut the throttle down just a hair sooner but I was trying to get a wheel on the bikes in front of me so they would yield to me in the turn and I would have a better chance of staying in the front. Immediately after turn 2 is a long straight where the Hyper has a huge disadvantage. I knew if I didn't get in front of them then they would have pulled away from me and I probably wouldn't be able to catch back up.
