Hi do you have rear sets kit??
@ride4462 жыл бұрын
Yes, the oem footpegs drag at extreme lean angle so I replaced with aftermarket.

I have trouble transitioning from braking-lean-gas in the initiation of the turn. Any tips or ways I can improve?
@ride4468 жыл бұрын
What exactly do you feel gives you trouble? Is it setting up for the turn? Braking points? Everything together?
@pasolesoup74308 жыл бұрын
+Wes Bracken it's transitioning from hard braking to gas and lean. Does that make sense?

Hey, thank you very much. There are others much better than I. I have mostly retired from roadracing and spend the summer riding stand up jet skis now

Sure, the mindset to have is be smoothe with everything. You want the transition between brake and throttle to be smoothe as well as your lean in. So on your approach you should have your braking point identified, say its 3 or 4. You can slide your butt on the seat in the approach before you begin braking, this keeps movements to a minimum while you are focused on other things. Depending on your skill level, do most of your braking, say 80 - 90% while the bike is still straight up and down. Use your knees in the tank to keep your body weight off the clip ons / handlebars. Remember SMOOTHE! You should be easing off the brake, say with one finger just slightly applying brake as you turn in. If you already slid over on the seat, drop your knee out and lean the bike into the turn as much as you are comfortable with. ALWAY look where you want to go! Sometimes it is difficult to do, but slowly apply the throttle and it will actually help the bike turn. Remember to have smoothe transitions between everything! As you are slowly letting off brake, slowly begin to apply throttle. Few more tips, I NEVER use rear brake. Use good tires! I run Bridgestone R10's or Bridgestone superbike slicks and change them before they are completely worn. Riding a slower bike can teach you a lot about how to go fast. Ninja 250 or 300, any 450 supermoto or bike that struggles to go 100mph is a great machine for the track and learning how to get those lap times down.

Thank you! Would being too smooth with brakes cause the front to load too much?
@ride4468 жыл бұрын
+Aziz Thegreat no
@ride4468 жыл бұрын
+Wes Bracken being too abrupt on the brakes might cause the front end to dive excessively. Having correct springs and suspension settings can help with front end dive

What class was this?
@ride4464 жыл бұрын
@@daytonasayswhat9333 no class. Just some small time club racing. Only ninja 300's had a class and then everything else ran together. Air cooled 1100 ducatis and BMW S1000rr ran together

Why are you staring at the gas tank all the time? Texting?
