I am Greek, and I have studied musicology. I am not a fan of Eurovision. This is the first time that I can actually listen to a Greek Eurovision Song. The singer is just 22 years old. Unfortunately, the instrumentation and arrangement are wayyyy too simple for me. For me, this song represents the young generation of Greeks (takented singer) cand the treatment this generation has from authorities (lack of inspiration, too flat, not much attention given). So, yes, this is Greek people singing and really resonating with the voice and the lyrics. Then, all the rest (everything we see in stage, instrumentation, etc) is the "system"

Melody can win and will win because a lot of people are going to follow Melody because her incredible voice

Dear friend! What a shallow, uneducated reaction this is! This song is NOT cute! It talks about pain and is such an insult to call it...cute! And even if you cannot dedicate the time to read the lyrics , which by the way is very important if you want to react to a song and not and instrumental piece, from the sound of the melody only and especially from the way she express it from the bottom of her heart, it should be obvious to you that "cute" is not the way to label this song! You have no musical understanding and music definitively doesnt speak to your heart! Her personnal choice to rock her glasses demonstrate her power and self confidence and even if you dont like it, which is ok, you stuck to it and oversaid it too many times, giving a "mean girl" vibe! And remember the great Nana Mouschouri one of the greatests singers of all time that always wore her glasses which had no impact to her huge career, and lets not forget the great Sir Elton John and his glasses!
