Can i get a link to this capsule filling machine because im searching the internet for a while the past day to find one on amazon or something and i cant find any.

Would you use one entire spawn grain jar for one monotub about the size you used? Or maybe spread it between two tubs

What do you mean by the leading edge?

I have that same grinder and I just tried my first batch. There has to be a better way... It would help a lot if the inner container was sealed, but we don't need to grind to the point of dust. I'm thinking it makes more sense to briefly chop the raw (fresh) mushrooms in a food processor, this would aid drying too. The other option I may try is a coffee burr grinder or a mortar & pestle. I sure wouldn't use this grinder again.

lol, your coffee grinder sucks..I put my mushrooms in for like 2 seconds, and it's pretty much TOTALLY powder. Mine is brand new tho, so that could be why. or your mushrooms weren't totally dry.

I got my grain off of Midwest too and it came with two bags. Do I need to inoculate both bags for one mono tub with 7.5 lb substrate or just one?

I made a mistake and shot the spore solution over the top, rather than getting it beneath the surface of the grains. Will that be okay?

can i ask: why do you choose to isolate from the leading edge of the growth and not in the center of the agar?

Hi! I left a comment on part 2 of your guide. I’m really curious if the tub needs to be sterile and if so, how do you keep the liner and the tape sterile? Is it only the inoculation stage that needs rigorous sterilization?

So how do you know which is the strongest in the agar plate?

Will different size capsules fit in the machine or do I need to purchase a machine and capsules based on how many mgs I want in each capsule? Hope that makes sense

once you mix it all do you keep it in a dark space at 74 degrees or just chilling in an open window room? I know that natural light can produce fruits when its time so do you avoid that natural window light until its time and keep it dark or just out and about in 74 degrees once mixed?

PsillyGirl after day 5 do you take them out of the dark and use a light source for 12 hours on??

One tip would be to push around the edges a bit stronger than anywhere else, when I do this I almost never get side pins along with the blacked out sides

In reality when inoculating a bag or jar, only the syringe needle and the port need to be sterile. In medicine when we inject into an IV we don't do it in a sterile environment. Just the needle and the IV port.

I use a fan blowing across a big plate

I noticed you have air exchange immediately from spawn to bulk. Do you find this method more optimal rather than plugging the holes with no air exchange and once your tub is fully colonized introduce fruiting conditions with FAE?

Hi, thanks for the videos! -How big is your tote? -What are the white discs on the sides of the tote? -So there’s no other things you have to do with the environment? How come everyone on all the FB groups talk about fans and lights and heating pads and all that? I’ve only done PF TEK and I’ve been hesitant to do the monotub because I don’t wanna have to make a whole set up but I could easily do it like these videos.

Hi a couple questions about sterilization…. Did you wipe the garbage bag and tape with 70% IPA? It seems this step can introduce lots of contamination.
