Great video. You might want to watch Trail Camera Adventures. The videos are animals in the Pacific Northwest around Mt St Helens. kzbin.info/door/CXpnk0toA_FisqCO0lNqyA

The DNR posted some videos of a cougar on a trail cam moving through Michigan, pretty exciting as it’s the first confirmed cougar sighting in Michigan for a while

You are so fortunate to have such a variety of wildlife on that property!!! I would love to have such diversity of species living near me!!! Conserve what you have , otherwise, many don’t view such wildlife diversity as essential and don’t care about its’ destruction.

I never visited the U.P., but whold like to. I'm a native of Indiana but moved to Idaho for school. I've seen a few of those animals here in Idaho (deer, coyote, black bear, never seen a wolf though even though they live here.)

Holy shit more wolfs than bears
@michigansanimals9341 Жыл бұрын
I mean that’s kinda expected, wolves are a lot smaller than bears so they need less food than a bear and they live in packs while bears live alone. I’d be concerned if there were more bears than wolves

Escanaba native here, I've seen only one wolf in the Esky area and it was around this time, 2015 or so. I had no idea we had so many wolves in the area. Pretty incredible how well they can avoid people all things considered. I didn't know how many bobcats either wow! Great photos

There is a mostly unknown part of Michigan, commonly referred to as "The Upper Peninsula", which for many years has held a good number of wolves. These wolves were supplied, as a courtesy of sorts, by a bunch of bureaucrats from southern MI. That was very sagacious of them to recognize the severe need for these wolves, but for some reason these same bureaucrats don't seem to want the wolves in their own peninsula.

Wolves have had a positive impact on the deer in the UP. We had WAAY too many deer in the UP, when theyre on every stretch of the highway and 50-100 in almost every field we have TOO MANY.. After a few seasons of rising wolf numbers the deer numbers are starting to fall where they shouldve been all along.

Amazing footage. As for the wolves, they were likely all from the same pack. Beautiful animals, ironic that of all the predators on earth, man is the most destructive and dangerous, yet so many want to kill off the wolves who actually are beneficial to the worlds ecosystems.

We aren't covered in fur, William. We don't have pads on our feet. We don't have thick skin. We are fragile & naked. While the wild evolve to the elements to survive, we manipulate our elements to suit US.
