New here, I live in the Bay Area in Cali. I just moved so I'm staring my garden all over again. Can't wait to see what tips you have.

Curious..I green sprouted 12 potatoes. Now that I've planted them and the sprouts have started to grow leaves...can I still cut them to separate and maybe grow more potatoes from the green sprouts?

Thanks so much for your video on this! I just discovered “webs” on my ficus plant and at first thought it’s probably just a spider that came along from the plant shop where I bought it from…but then I realized that it might be something else because it is too finely “woven” to be an actual spider web. So I looked it up and found your video! But the strange thing is that it’s winter in NYC, and the room I keep my ficus in is particularly cold. So I was shocked to hear that these little buggers thrive in the heat! Well, I guess they like the cold too! 😱😬 And I also thank you for the tip on the liquid seaweed! I’m going to get some asap, and a neem oil spray for my ficus! 😊

Those are HUGE SNAILS! Feed those bad boys to your chickens!
@jayejaycurry548515 күн бұрын
One important thing ive noticed missing from your set up is natural food. While chickens will eat grain, their diet needs to include greens (even grass) and criters (bugs, worms, baby snakes, etc.). It eliminates a lot of the cost of an overly restrictive menu. It also makes for more nutritious chicken and eggs, as well as happy hens.
@AudreysLittleFarm13 күн бұрын
I give my chickens additional foods (veggies, herbs, greens, cooked meats, etc) daily. It’s just not in the chicken run. My garden grows right next to the coop and so it’s easy to pick and feed to the chickens 😊

Good stuff and makes sense. The less you mess with it the better! Kind of one of the laws of nature, eh? I started a bunch of asparagus from seed this spring. ('cause I'm cheap and patient!) Had probably about 40 plants sprout and I then transplanted them into the ground. It was a dry summer, and I did water them a couple of times a week, but still only ended up with 17 living plants at the end of October. I transplanted them into a more favorable bed (I hope) and it is early December now in PA and some are still showing a green color. They are about 10" tall now and to tell you the truth I'm afraid to mess with them. But once they turn all brown I guess they get the snip! Then I'll wish them up out of the ground next spring and we shall see where we are! Thanks!

U.S store bought eggs have to be washed and refrigerated so they stay good longer because of the length of storage time due to the distance they travel.

What do I do with the new rooted clippings if going into winter
@GhostTownRanch2 ай бұрын
I use my eggs for protein shakes, so i have to crack them and put right into shake for consumption; not a fan of the idea of keeping the bloom on them since the chance of contamination appears present. And cleaning them before use is a guaranteed cement like poop/bloom to deal with. Any suggestions? I’ve heard oiling the eggs helps keep them safe after washing. My chickens and ducks are pain, they all crap on their eggs.

Great video! Can you help me with an issue with one of my girls? Poppie vent, hard tummy, waddle walk. My first thought was mites, did everything, (coop spray, deep clean, apple cider vinegar, replenished bath with DE, Epsom soak),,,,for 2 months,,,,problem not gone. Other girls FINE. I rather not spend 200.00 for vet but I do love this girl!
