Great video! You should consider adding some insulation to your heat run and return. It will definetly improve the heaters preformance.
@ReelLifeWithMikeАй бұрын
@@howarddittrich157 you’re 100% correct on that. I’m working on a couple of different models where the output is almost directly against the tent and the input will be insulated. I definitely know that metal ducting will lose a ton of heat.

I have a 160-watt panel charging an RV lead acid marine battery. When fully charged I charge an iron phosphate power station with an inverter. Most of the time I have extra power but I want another 160-watt panel to double the voltage on cloudy days. It's for a teepee tent I use the same stuff like a diesel heater on it.
@ReelLifeWithMikeАй бұрын
@@troytaylor1913 that’s good to hear. I got a larger solar this year and will Definetly post the results
@troytaylor1913Ай бұрын
I have to set up another solar battery for an electric fence. At this place, I had to set my tent up and work while someone was feeding bears. That person died and I have to go clean that place up. This place belongs to my x-boss and I got to go work for him again cleaning this place. With some signs I can use a high-voltage coil it is very desolate there is no electricity there.
@troytaylor1913Ай бұрын
I was very nervous in the summer because of the bears coming around looking for food. I was staying in a summer cabin tent a good one. I got to be there in the winter so I'm putting together a heated teepee also, things are easier to move in the snow with a sled. I kind of been using my camping gear for doing work instead of for camping for a couple of years. It gives me a place to stay in desolate places

@ReelLifeWithMikeАй бұрын
It actually wasn’t too bad. I made sure it was quite flat and didn’t really notice it with the sleeping pad. The hard part with the 2400 is that the bench doesn’t remove without unscrewing it. Also, it’s one of their smallest flip over so I’m not sure a car would even fit in there lol this was more just a fun project and will be working on a 2600 flip over overnight this year.

Great video! I’m a new fan. Heater setup super cool. I did my flip the same way. A little more over the top tho. An idea is run an aerator ( Mr. bubbler ) in shack . Keeps those bait fish so much more active. Oh put ear plugs over exposed treble hooks while traveling. No more snags😉
