I do this, but in the reverse - use waterproof ink, then use watercolors for coloring. Though I tend to use very little water, compared with traditional watercolor, or this technique. But this looks super fun as well.

Excited for Nimble! Also, the Oathsworn is more of a Holy Knight/Paladin type.

Just pulled into Walmart to grab some cheap watercolors to give this a try haha thanks so much for this awesome technique!

Important note: I don't know if you're aware of it but the title translation of your last two videos are enabled. This means that your video title is automatically translated and there is an option that people watching your videos can see it in an ai dubbed translation. Sometimes the translation of the titles are a bit wonky so if you don't want that, I recommend turn it off. At least for me, a (sometimes badly) translated title into my own language makes videos less appealing and I was a bit confused why your title would suddenly be german xD Apparently youtube changed this feature into default or something idk I hope this helps. :) Keep your amazing work going, it always brightens up my day and inspires me to try drawing stuff

I use the same watercolor and love it. Helpful tip: sometimes the tape might pull up the paper, you can warm up the tape with a hairdryer and it comes off much easier.

So I am a watercolor artist (with all the "fancy" professional supplies) and after I came across your channel a while back, I've just been drawing and painting a lot of random maps for fun since it's actually really calming and relaxing. Glad to see you dipping into watercolors! This looks great.

Winsor and Newton are pan paints, student grade and good for learning basics to watercolor. I have them for simple sketching.

How do you think this would work with Savage Worlds/Deadlands? Despite it being fantasy, seems like this could work in the wierd wild west with the moon phases, hunting/cleaning animals, etc

I had a similar solution for this; Cardboard. Get plenty of the stuff (I get mine from the store I work at), design the dungeon piece by piece, and cut off the excess. I’m doing the same thing with props

SoulMuppet is in UK and they publish a lot of fun stuff. So is Melsonisn Arts Council and Loot the Room. Rowan, Rook amd Deckard is amother great one.

I love that you included the resin dice making set, because I like doing resin art, too. Just be careful: molds often hold air bubbles, especially in small places (like the corners of numbers, for example, or dice corners altogether). Thus, it takes a bit of experience and manual dexterity to get somewhat usable dice, and if you want to do really good ones, you usually need a pressure pot and a small compressor to cure the dice in. This will squeeze the bubble so teeny-tiny that they don't matter anymore. Just overfill the molds a bit so there is excess resin to fill the gaps of where the bubbles were. :) And please: wear a respirator and nitrile gloves when working with resin, because there can be vapors you don't want to inhale during the curing (which is why you usually want to let your resin stuff cure somewhere else than your living room), and the resin itself is irritating to the skin. This might be discouraging for some people to get into resin casting, but it shouldn't. You can do awesome art with resin, even without a pressure pot - only stuff like dice is really, really difficult. Just know the pitfalls beforehand, so you aren't disappointed.

Suggestion for those looking for large pad of graph paper: Desktop pad replacement [like those huge calendars that sit on the desk of Really Important People, only with grid instead]. Paper is thicker and grid sizes vary.
