Hey, all! PLEASE READ!! With the most recent updates to the Kaidan Immersive Features mod and in future updates, there have been/will be a number of changes to Bryn spice so this video is no longer representative of the Bryn Spice experience in 2024. The amazing Immersive Features team has made a lot of improvements and additions (like adding an event were you do meet up with Bryn if you decided to 😉) so now more than ever I recommend downloading the mod and experiencing it for yourself. You can get the latest version of Kaidan Immersive Features on kaidanmod.com and you can see previews of what has and will be added on Han Shot First's KZbin Channel www.youtube.com/@hanshotfirst5576 and on the official Kaidan mod discord which you can get an invite for at the kaidanmod site. I am merely a fan and fellow player of the Kaidan mod so go give Han Shot First and the rest of the Immersive Features team some love 🤍🤍

Did you add the AIOKaidan to a Nolvus list or did you use your own list? (Your link isn’t working so I’m not sure) If you added the AIO to the Nolvus list, where did you place it in the load order? If you didn’t do the AIO, and instead manually downloaded each mod, where did you place them? I would love you forever if you did a video. I built my new PC because of this video.

You're right my modlist link isn't working (idk why😭) and my current list is not in a sharable state right now since I've been making a lot of changes to it but hopefully I can share it soon ! Modding Skyrim & Kaidan were the main motivators for me to get a PC too haha! 🤍 I don't think I will do a video, but if this is confusing let me know and if I have time I could whip up a video. Also, the official Kaidan discord can help you out figuring out where to place the mod too. There are multiple moderators that can help you with your load order. They are more knowledgeable than me so don't hesitate to join the discord and ask for help. I used Nolvus as a guide or starting point and installed mods manually. I would recommend doing this over using their installer since you will know your list inside and out which makes future personalization and troubleshooting much easier. Even though it will take much longer to develop your LO. Download the Kaidan AIO from the Kaidan website - it has the patches you need and places them in the right order in relation to each other. In your load order, the Kaidan AIO should go as low in your list as possible. In MO2 I made a separator for it on the left side and all of my other Kaidan specific mods which is placed above my patches and other "load last" type mods. Then I use "Loot" to sort the mod where it should be on the right side. That is just my set up though so where you need to place yours may be different. And again, the Kaidan discord is very helpful too! You can get an invite on the Kaidan mod website. Hope that answers your questions!

@@Lavendarrr I'm actually interested in which graphic mods and "movement" of the character (hair, walking etc.) mods you use also the clothing etc. . I've always seen the same mods on other people's sites but they weren't linked anywhere. I've been searching like crazy for those mods😅

Gotcha! Graphics wise, my list at the time of this video wasn't too different than what is on the NOLVUS modlist so I would check that out! They have their own website. For movement I love Verolevi's mods. I use their Leviathan anims for male walk/run and Vanargand anims for Female walk/run. For other anims like idles and conversational anims, CHIMgarden has amazing stuff. I think I use most of their mods. For hair physics you need Faster HDT SMP as well as hair mods that support that. My DB uses exclusively dint hair - dint is on patreon. But there are a lot of SMP hair mods on Nexus too. I recently played the Brynjolf Has Time and Rune mod combo, and that one is really good. It initiates after your guild master and, to me, a more realistic way to romance Brynjolf. But I am totally game to give this mod a try

I love the way your game looks! I have the Kaidan mod and I absolutely love it! I just got the updated one and I am playing the Bryn spice, but I have a hard time getting the dialog between Bryn and Dirge to trigger. I've maxed out Kaidan's friendship and have early flirting and the spice turned on, but that dialog just won't trigger. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Hmm did you make sure that you have both spice and angst switches on? I’ve never had an issue with triggering it before so I’m not sure. I recommend going to Kaidan’s official discord and submitting a support ticket there. They have a lot of folks there that can help you get to the bottom of it. There is also a guide to Bryn spice that could also help you figure out what stage you are on and the requirements for the others. A link to the discord and I think to the Bryn spice guide as well can be found in the Kaidanmod.com website 😊 if not on the site, I know the Bryn spice guide is on the discord!

Omg, omg, omg, thank you, Lavendarr for posting this! I needed this! I'll probably watch this over and over again all night until I fall asleep, crying myself to sleep. My step dad passed away recently, last Friday as a matter of fact. This video has encouraged me that I can get through this painful, emotional transistion. I like the added dialogue could be read as both interpretations people have of ulfric (for a moment lets ignore the thalmor documents) Ulfric is either a headstrong arrogant idiot with a big ego and wants to rule skyrim because of his outrage over the war and hatred of the other races OR he's a wounded soldier who believes his visions (though perhaps a little overzealous and aggressive) would bring skyrim to a better place and preserve the culture. Both of these interpretations work with the dialogue. Kaiden's responses lean more towards the former, but that could be the mod writer's personal choice/belief how Kaiden would see him. It doesn't necessarily affect the reality.
