I live in a small cottage in Cornwall in the middle of nowhere. In May, someone dumped 4 kittens and their dad near our house. The cats made their way to our house and we started feeding them. They were terrified of us to start with and wouldn’t come near us and would shake. It’s taken months and now the cats are in our house every night and cuddling in to us. They especially love the fireplace! We needed Cats Protection to help us to start with as I’ve never had cats before and didn’t know what to do. But now I love these cats so much. It’s hard looking after 5 growing cats, and is costing a lot to feed them, but they are so adorable and I can’t believe they were just abandoned. It’s awful how people can just dump cats like that.

Thanks for the tips appreciated. Homed one of my cats from a very strange place, arrived to collect her, no sign of cats anywhere person promptly opened the door of a small cabinet came out with two kittens. Homed them both but unfortunately lost Kaya to illness. Pepper is now 6 still nervous hates change but much better than she was. ❤

Adopted a Mum & Daughter 12 years ago from CP after losing the boy I had previously adopted! Lost the daughter a few months ago & broke my heart! Never loved an animal so much! Now have adopted a lovely older boy who I love now! How these 3 could have been treated badly & left I do not understand! Something that I could not do so very many thanks & much support to CP for the 3 beauties that they let me adopt!

I took over the care of a black cat and he was quite a big boy. When I took him to the vet I lifted him out of his pet carrier and the vet said. Oh my word it’s a small panther. He was totally my cat, he had no time for anyone else and I loved him.

My cat likes the furminator and it removes a lot of fur but metal so need to be very gentle.

I have tried everything on the video above but she is still not drinking ..I recently had to make some changes ..though she is a kitten , her brother from the same litter has been trying to mate with her. I even got her her own litter box but she refuses to go there ...she goes to the one shares with her brother . As a result of the recent change she is constipated and I am guilty of picking her up putting her near water fountain or water bowl

this nearly brought me to tears. animal cruelty in itself is heartbreaking but i have a ginger and white cat called Alfie and this proper made me tear up looking at him thinking how could people be so thoughtless

I am so happy that cats protection is rescuing as many cats as they possibly can, but it’s just wrong to abandon cats on the streets. This needs to be stopped soon.
