I'd recommend keeping your defenses low so that you can abuse the comrade overdrive mode while farming. The more damage they take the more it charges overdrives. This only works with auto-phoenix.

The last three times I tried this match, even when I hit the manual v aut select button, game went straight to auto and wouldn't let me switch it back. This game wants you to fail.

The first blitz match in the game is not a fair fight, I've watched this video twice, yet every time I feel set up for failure. The in-game tutorial is over complicated and unhelpful. This is an even shittier version of soccer. I hate sports!

I love seeing Kain played rightly! His HP attacks drives into opponents, so seeing them dragged by Gungnir or Sky Rave is so satisfying! Also those usages of Jump is stellar; to dodge or to smash enemy from below are the best uses of Jump. Now wonder the match is so intense.

I waited until i got the airship to really start the blitzball grind. I made sure though to Hire Wedge, Myu, Ropp and Zarizz before adding Brother on the airship for an easy grind. Myu in goal, Ropp and Zarizz in defense, Brother as midfielder and Tidus with Wedge as the strikers. Its really easy to win with that team

I love blitzball, as a kid i hated it cuz i didnt ubderstand it. But its actually dope and my team slaps, Brother is straight up Micheal Jordan. You dont even need Titus, i can 5-0 every match with just Brother.

I could never do well in the Blitzball games. Even the first time I played FFX I lost the first game. Then I learned the Jecht Shot, scored my first goal and then stayed on my goalie side and watch the opposing team moving in circles.

One thing that is worth noting. When a chest becomes a Mimic, you can no longer escape that battle. Escape and Flee are grayed out.

If you’re not going for 99,999 HP, then I strongly recommend running 255 Agility. The benefit at the start of combat is not insignificant and Yuna specifically needs over 210 Agility to bring the Agility of the Magus Sisters above the 170 threshold.

How come every time I press Square to pass, it constantly pits me against enemy opponents? Reading in the in-game tutorial doesn't help in this other than press Square to pass or shoot. Had this issue with shooting too. Times where no opponent was near me and when I press to shoot, they suddenly instant transmission right in front me.

Hd remaster messed up so bad, cant upgrade auron & Kimahri weapon even when I have all the sigil and crest. And the bartender wont give me wakka weapon. But I got 2 Godhand for Rikku

I am an ace blitzball player, but suck at the other games like the butterflies and chocobo races. That has me tempted to just get Wakka's Celestial weapon and grind like mad to customise the other ultimate weapons.
