Testing the Custom Match Bots! | Dead by Daylight PTB

Basically how it went:
-run through the perimeter of the map
-hide/crouch despite the killer having a clear line of sight
But hey there's room for improvement! Plus we can now directly try out a new killer's power without playing on a public match.

The bots in custom game are pretty good to play against as they are not dumb like i thought they would be. They know a few loops and know when to hide in locker. There is only 2 things that sucks about them is that they keep camping the pallets sometimes,forcing you to run the loop in order to catch them and there is no other way around. The other thing is Freddy's dream pallets doesn't work at all against them since they know exactly which pallet is real and which one is fake,which is kinda boring.

Hey I gotta question Is custom match out for PS4 right now? If so, can you only play as killer against bots or you can also play as survivors with bots against a bot Killer?

They are working on it. We will get it in the future. It's just going to take more time because of killer powers being unique per character.

Me too. I really do so bad. Oh! Incase no one knows, In DBD mobile update (2023 April) custom match is updated, The character selection is removed and now it’s just random (which is frustrating to me) And I haven’t heard anyone complain about the character bot selection in dbd custom matches. (I think that’s all I would say)

I’m guessing at the moment the bots cannot be customized to have certain perks or carry items yet, seeing as how their load outs are blank when the match it over.

@@MusicAddict9228 interesting thing too is even though you can’t give the survivor bots items, they’ll open chests and use the items in them. Had a bot Ashe try to blind me mid chase, it actually felt humorous

@@MusicAddict9228 That's awesome, now I can enjoy playing both survivor and killer single player mode and don't have to worry about toxic survivor/killer players. I've always said they should add a single mode for dbd due to toxic survivor/killer players I often go against. This game is alot of fun but toxic players are the ones that ruin the fun. I'm glad the devs of dbd are actually listening to the players. They are half way there, we now have survivor bots now all they need is to add killer bots and we're dbd golden.

How do i get the PTB? i cant get a code that is working and cant find any Info about it.

PTB is no longer active. The chapter releases tomorrow though so you'll be able to check out everything showcased in this video tomorrow. I believe you should be able to find how to access the PTB via the Dead By Daylight website. It's only available on PC via Steam though.

So they're finally officially adding box to the game so they're no longer hiding the fact that there's been killer and survival bots in the game for at least last month or two and I say this because the amount of killer matches have gotten up against or Survivor matches have gone up against Sports Claudette moral or facing the doctor and their name is the doctor and you can't friend them or anything you can only block them so yeah they've been testing out Bots for a while I'm just surprised they're just now saying that they're officially adding Bots but the killer Bots are broken they will not move and they will only use their power in one spot anyways if there's any spelling mistakes or grammar errors it's because of speech to text so don't come at me blame Google cuz I'm too lazy to write out this entire paragraph and that's why I failed school

I would assume not being that it's just Bots and it's in a custom however I do think this will be a great opportunity for people to sort of practice or people like me who just get bored and would rather play with Bots instead of real people
