It's a popular walleye spot. But it runs hot and cold. They arent always there. You got to hunt for them. Thanks for watching and be safe on the water!

Seem like you are struggling to fish and record and steer the boat. A kayak will do better in small skinny rivers and waters.
@Tesslabeachfishing
@Tesslabeachfishing Ай бұрын
@@balam8743 boat control and fishing easy. Add in filming and narration, that makes it challenging. I love kayaks but I wouldn't be able to fish as much water. I caught a sturgeon on a kayak and it dragged me down river what a ride ! Thanks for watching !

Were the salmon mainly caught plunking, or did the guys with spinners and spoons catch some ? Seems you’d need lots of weight, both for plunking and spinning …
@Tesslabeachfishing
@Tesslabeachfishing 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching ! The day we were there, it was a 50%mix of plinkers to spinners one guy threw a spinner about 10 feet you and caught a coho. The fish were close to shore

Thanks for watching ! The set up is a bit hodge podge. I Bungie strapped a milk carton to my side racks to hold my fishing gear and cooler. I installed after market passenger foot pegs so Tess can ride with me the rest is pretty stock equipment they came with the bike. I installed a front rack for a back pack or small crate lots of fun on the beach! I can fish more beach and find fish faster ! Tight lines !

Can you catch walleye around there year round, or are there better times of the year, or times when they aren't there at all?
@Tesslabeachfishing
@Tesslabeachfishing 3 ай бұрын
@@bentilley386 hey thanks for watching ! You can catch walleye here year round....buy you will need to hunt for them. They are a migratory predator. Part of the fun ( for me at least) is finding them. They are never in the same place. Try your favorite spots but be mentally prepared to widen your search, find new structure, island and bank points including wing dams. Stay on the bottom. ...and if you aren't losing gear, you aren't fishing for walleye! 🐟

Thanks for watching! I had the same.issue. I switched to the high low rig and made the hook loops shorter. I go as short as possible to allow the hook loops to go around the hooks. If I tangle,.I know to make the loops a little shorter. Good idea for a tutorial video. Tight lines!

What bait you use to catch surf perch, and what standard rig setup do you recommend?
@Tesslabeachfishing
@Tesslabeachfishing 5 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching our channel! I use many baits such as sand fleas, clam and clam necks. For beginners Id recommend Gulp Sandworms As for the rig I prefer the "high low" set up I use 20lb braid with a 15lb leader. I go deep on my set up on this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5y9podnacuem9kfeature=shared Hope the link works

Thanks for watching and subscribing! It is always a huge compliment to meet people on the beach and on the water who found inspiration in our videos to go out and start fishing! It motivates us to continue making videos. Hopefully our videos will shorten your learning curve so you can catch lots of fish! Look for the high tide. If you don't hook up after 10 mins, move to a new spot. Once you find a school, it will be fast action...but save some fish for me! 🐠😁... See you on the water!
