I used patches and got down to the lowest strength pretty fast. Even the lowest patch allowed me to sleep well. I realized that I kept cycling back to nicotine every time withdraw would mess up my sleep. patches got me through it. At the very end I'd just throw one on after dinner and take it off in the morning when I got up.

I'm 30 hours in, the cravings have become quite intense but no withdrawals. It's just the habbit, it's pretty intense though! I started getting palpitations, quite some time ago actually and think I've been in denial that it could have been to do with the vaping. So far, I gotta say I've noticed a light reduction... I've just ordered some toothpicks with a bit of flavour off amazon to fill that void for the time being!

I think the problem for a lot of people including myself is they are withdrawing from the drug and then life inevitably throws awful days/events at you and you just go back to it and the cycle starts again. All it takes is one weak moment during a withdrawal phase which could be months and then you're back to square one.

For the past 3 years I've been vaping and its gotten to a point that its like...morning to night I'm vaping. I started cutting back about a week ago but it hasnt been easy. I tried to stop cold turkey but I become a MONSTER, and yet I decided today would be the day I put my foot down with this shit and find ways to quit. I even leave my vape at work, which surprises me when I dont have it with me, the cravings are there but I'm surprised on how well I manage without it. I started sucking on blowpops and exercising anytime that itch REALLY hits me. I can do this, and anyone out there reading this comment that's going through the same situation, YOU CAN TOO!! Thanks for the video! ❤

Good luck with your journey man! You seem like a genuine guy. I’d recommend putting the camera settings in slog3. This helps you edit post production. Definetly doesn’t look as good raw but you have far more capabilities when shooting in this setting. Works well at night and day because, from my understanding, it gets rid of the pure blackness in dark areas which enables you to adjust the colors nicely when editing. When u look at the colors from ur display on ur camera it’s gonna look very gray scale. Give it a try, maybe make a video on your experience with it. Definitely don’t take my word id recommend watching a video on it. But, it’s a very nice camera with a very high price point, might as well try it out and get the most out of it! Good luck!

@danull2 ай бұрын
Honestly I felt like I sleep better after I quit. It was like two days and then better sleep for me at least!
@Omlet2212 ай бұрын
For insomnia, try melatonin. Usual doses are a couple milligrams to ten at most and hour before bed. Usually works great for me and I pretty much use it every night. There is some concern that melatonin supplements will reduce natural melatonin production, but I am pretty sure this has been disproven; The biggest side effect is sometimes being groggy the next day. Of course the natural and best way to help sleep is routine and environment. Routine is consistent timing of course, and also rituals like a shower, chamomile tea, and relaxing music. Environmental factors like comfortable clothes and a cool room. I have pretty poor sleep habits (potentially a result of my ASD), so I may not be the best person to give sleep advice, but on the other hand I’ve researched it a fair amount for this reason.

But as soon as I start puffing on it now I’m out of breath all day. Idk what’s changed recently but it must be time to quit. Hopefully before my lungs were already highly damaged.

Hey brother, good practice! I would definitely put a pause on investing into gear, it seems like you’re set for a long time. Instead of putting that money into gear, get Lightroom instead, and if the adobe cloud subscription is too expensive, I would sell 1 lens and get really really good with the other one. I would argue that having a large variety of gear options early on is actually damaging to creativity. Being limited sets you free and makes you an expert in what you have available. Hope that helps🤙🏼

It's mostly in your head. A big hurdle is worrying about the withdrawals which are honestly not that severe. It's the mindset of "I want it, I can't have it, ughhh" that makes whatever physical withdrawal you're experiencing seem so much worse. If you can learn to recognize and tame the addictive voice in your head that keeps you addicted, you can then become free from addiction. "Rational Recovery" by Jack Trimpey and "The easy way to quit vaping" by Allen Carr are two books that helped me quit my severely destructive drug addiction as well my nicotine addiction quite easily. If you can train your mind to not crave these destructive substances and realize they do absolutely nothing for you, you will find that it becomes quite easy and you are not depriving yourself of anything worthwhile. The human brain is amazing, cunning, baffling and powerful. Drugs on the other hand are not.
