build a stone tile on the floor and you can sink it into the ground, those posts are just to give me a small marker to help remember the floor plan.

its possible to repair it with the hammer, but this particular house has a roof over all of the blocks, so once its finished it shouldnt decay at all.

in one of the tabs in the build menu you have wallpaper prints, some of those are for floor tiles, I just used a wooden flooring wallpaper print.

Enshrouded has some good parts to its building system, there are a lot of material choices.

Thanks for the heads up, this is a much older build of mine, kinda good thing my other smaller more dedicated builds work still, I added beds just for my own personal preference to those.

There is a much better long form video of this on my channel where I show how its made, I don't really make shorts so any I make tend to just be on a whim.

I intended to continue making builds in enshrouded for a while, but I got distracted by other things, I tend to make videos on builds I make for myself, and at the time I wanted to make a town. so I wanted everything in the town to use similar materials. If I end up going back to check out the new stuff, I will most likely make something in a new area.

Unfortunately for this particular house no, I usually do make building guides for every build, but there are some snapping issues in once human which make it harder to re-create most builds easily, from the roof not wanting to be placed to half tiles having odd gaps between them, so I made this a showcase instead. If the snapping issues get better I might revisit this build though, as I do like A frame houses, its super chill to build them

Oh, what a pity :( I fell in love with the house immediately. <3 I love these houses too, but I'm not so good with ideas. :D Then I really hope that you make it into a video when you don't have any more problems.

@@elfi7340 I most likely will once its fixed, I still have this building in my eternaland, I know the devs are actively working on the building system, and Its improved a lot so far, just the odd gaps between quarter blocks need to be fixed now.

nope, how I made all of my enshrouded builds was I had a box full of say 10k blocks, and whatever was left at the end of the build I just subtracted from 10k, then rounded the numbers up. so the estimates are very accurate for these builds. But if you use foundations instead of ceiling tiles for the base layer. it would be FAR more expensive. but foundation blocks are just a waste of resources.
