I always go 🧐 when Nan says “take it easy, it’s just a few signatures”. She just had this entire soliloquy about how badly he fucked up, how he’s a bum sheriff, he created a PR nightmare and people are dead. But it ultimately amounts to nothing more than “a few signatures”? Really?

This movie is so relatable to me. Sara's character is so relatable to me. I can totally relate to her. I was in a similar relationship like this. This guy whom I've trusted and loved for years, molested me in my own home under my parents nose when I was a teen. He was kinda like skarsgard's character. He was jealous of me. Whenever I got good grades he was jealous whenever anything good would happen to anyone he would be jealous. He gaslighted and manipulated me for years and him molesting me was the final straw. He was rich and privileged. Always looked down upon me. He was someone closer to me and my family he always used to put this good boy facade. It has been years since we've seen eachother. But I've heard that he's living his best life while I'm here suffering with nightmares and anxieties every now and then. Whenever I watch the scene of Sara seeing him with his wife I burst in tears cuz I can feel her pain her abuser gets to live an easy life God makes everything easier for her abuser while she's the one who still suffers
