This town has a rich history of some of the most incredible businessmen...and businesses that have survived the test of time through hard work and sheer determination!

Seems a sizable town with tree-lined streets and kept clean. Another of so many places I didn't know of.

Excellent job as per usual. I wish our municipalities understand and importance of road markings upkeep.

I played cricket at Val. It was amazing. I remember playing against Johnny Waite (got him lbw), Pieter vd Merwe (gentleman), and more. A real village experience. Graham Allen was our captain. I think his son Michael was the SA farmer of the year in 2024.

I stayed in Sasolburg from 2005 - 2024 before moving to New Zealand in September 2024. I worked for Sasol with in the sphere of Logistics for road and Rail, played club rugby, and stayed very close to the taxi rank. I have so many memories of late night and early mornings, especially from Emperor's. My roots, blood, sweat and tears are still there. Made many friends, lost friends and people. I miss that place.....

Hey, but the potholes are a clear indication of neglect by the town council and the province. Most town of Mpumalanga have good roads, but this one is a shame to whoever runs the municipality.
