The drooling part is true when it comes to sweet things even when the child is still a baby or toddler if you give them too much sweets they drool. Its also true scientifically coz when you eat a lot of sweet things it causes an overproduction of mucus which in small children can result in drooling coz they can't control how they excrete the extra saliva whereas adults can experience it as a need to spit constantly. I think some of the things our elders had natural wisdom that had been passed on from generation to generation vyt because they couldn't explain them scientifically we think they sucked it out of their thumbs.
