Hello. In the video you talked about validating your ticket or pass. What is the purpose of doing that and how often do you have to do it?

Not validating means you've not paid for the metro which means you can be fined even if you have the ticket/pass on you.

Yes! What I mean by validating is that "you tap your Navigo pass on the fare gates before you take the metro or if you have a paper ticket, you slide it through the fare gates slot" as shown in the video at 04:58 and 04:12 respectively. I hope it's clearer now 😀

Hi, you're right, you won't need the pass at all! You'll also be able to visit most areas except Olympic sites (stadiums).

You can upload proof of hotel booking, restaurant reservation, entry ticket to an attraction/museum, a doctor's appointment, nail appointment! Basically proof of what you intend to do there. I hope this helps

Hi there, yes you won't need it because after 1 pm, no one will be allowed to go close near the seine (where the opening day ceremony will be) unless you have a paid ticket to watch the show! The same goes for all Olympic sites, they'll be inaccessible to everyone who doesn't have a ticket to watch an Olympic game. So the Pass Jeux won't be needed. I hope this clarifies it!

Hello , the most difficult day will be the 26th, because of the ceremony. If you come from the 30th of July to August 2nd, the pass is not necessary, but you won't be able to access to certain area during the day (it depends on each day where the games take place) . And welcome to France !

I am like 50/50 about it. There are lots of inconveniences but it's also nice to experience the Olympics without having to go far.

I think it will be more difficult than usual because there will be lots of people requesting them as walking time has increased since lots of roads are restricted. Also, if you get one, you may take quite a number of detours because of restrictions. But I think you'll still be able to get one, just plan for delays here and there.

Hi, the Navigo weekly pass will not be for sale between July 20 until September 8. You can buy the Paris 2024 Pass or single journey tickets (this will be €4 a ticket). This will depend on your itinerary and how many days you you'll spend in Paris, so you'll have to do a bit math to see the best option for you.

Nice video - question, how to best buy for the CDG RER? At Gare de Nord a few weeks ago the ticket counter was closed and the machine lines were 20 plus minutes. Total nightmare.

Good question! You can buy it on the IDF Mobilités app. If you already have a Navigo easy pass, just go to the app, click "purchases", click on "on my Navigo pass" read your pass, select "single tickets" and scroll down until you see "CDG Airport ticket" and then it will be loaded to your Navigo. You can also buy it directly on your phone if you don't have a Navigo pass. Go to the app, select "on my iphone" and follow the same steps as above.
