No digital effect whatsoever can surpass the brilliance of these practical effects. It’s simply genius and an all-time classic movie scene in cinema history. RIP Christopher and Margot.

This and Big Trouble in Little China are amongst my top favorite 80's movies. Damn shame they don't make them like they used to.

1:22-2:10 The Aliens vibe is ice cold chilling, especially with Dilophosaurus brutality. And the music has that Verhoeven's dirty twist (wink-wink). Amazing cinematography.

When I was a kid I thought the music at the end was from the movie Two Brothers, just cause I heard it in the trailer for that movie.

"Pleasantville (1998) Mural' scene. I really love this part soo much. It's soo pretty & I love the music that is playing. It goes soo well with this movie. I have this movie on DVD. It's pretty cheesy, campy, corny, quirky & silly. Still a great 90's Comedy Movie with Jeff Daniels & Toby McGuire. I love Randy Newman music. This scene is soo well done & such a masterpiece.....

People forget that those who are strong in the force can also see in the past as well as the future, hence why Leia was able to remember Padme briefly. Just like she could sense Luke when he was in trouble. It is sad that this ability to see in the past about their family went to Leia, since Luke says he doesn't remember her at all.

Brooks was a library man. That means he was a learned man, an educated man. There's no way a man like that would sit in prison without wanting to know about what's going on in the outside world, he'd be far too curious for that. Portraying him on the outside like this afraid child with no idea what's going on and being all like "oh gosh so many cars!" as if he never read a goddamn newspaper. Great movie but that part is straight up bigotry against cons.
