The main problem with this film is having to cram Stephen King's very thick novel, full of character background, into a two hour film. Still, it has its moments, often thanks to a devilish score by composer Patrick Doyle. This brief standalone piece is the highlight. It's a perfect fit for this scene, but the director and editor must have liked it a lot, because they copy-pasted it for the film's ending.
Starring Max von Sydow, Ed Harris, Bonnie Bedelia, Amanda Plummer, J.T. Walsh, William Morgan Sheppard and Don S. Davis. Based on the novel by Stephen King, and directed by Fraser C. Heston (son of Charlton). Original score by Patrick Doyle.
