hey! so I am an avid wearer of Air force 1's and have been using them for a while. I only wear one shoe at a time, so i don't really alternate. The bottom of my heal has been tearing, and has done so with previous air forces I have worn. I am wondering how I can fix that? It causes pain on my leg/heel when I walk, or even just stand. Its a very annoying pain. Part of the problem is I continue to wear the shoes even after they have already torn, could this be the issue? Based on this video it seems i have normal or supinate, not sure tho. I have tried other shoes but it still hurts

This was amazing. I am REALLY stuck on one side and that causes huge psoas issues and my left leg to be significantly tighter, and even slightly larger, stronger and sometimes feeling slightly shorter (I tend to walk on my tiptoes on that side). I’m really excited to see how much this shinbox can help me gain hip mobility and flexibility and I think that can greatly help me in boxing too

Great video !!! I started to have low back pain on one side (my right) after workout. Side plank on the pain side (right side) relieves the pain immediately and I am pain free for an hour, and the pain starts to increase gradually. I am planning to do 3 sets twice a day. Any suggestions will be of help. Also what would have triggered this one side pain? 🙏

My shoes always wear out starting under my toes right in the center and from there they expand to the sides and down right ending where the arch of the foot begins and never passing to the toes and from there it starts in the center of the heel and expanding to all sides covering everything that is my heel generally between 1-2 years they are so smooth that I start to slip What does mine mean?

What's the point of asking people to look at the bottom of their shoes? Drawing conclusions on running mechanics based on wear pattern is like looking at a window a mile away and asking people to tell you what's going on inside the house. It's guesswork at best. I'll make it easy for you: cite ONE study that clearly shows a CORRELATION (not causation) between running mechanics and certain specific wear patterns at the bottom of the shoe. I'll wait.

Which group of muscle reduce hollowing of back I'm stuck b/w lumbar extensor and lumber flexer
@ElevateSportandSpine
@ElevateSportandSpine Жыл бұрын
So, hollowing is mostly performed by abdominal muscles, and mostly the ones on the sides. These would be transverse abdominus, and the obliques. If you are talking about arching the spine, that is mostly performed by spinal extensors. Rounding the spine is performed by spinal flexors as well as rectus abdominus.

@giovanbattistafichera8439
@giovanbattistafichera8439 Жыл бұрын
supination is a perfectly normal thing as the foot always comes into contact with the ground on the exterior later aspect and then rotates inwards (pronates) to shock absorb before resupinating again in the last phase, at toe off. The fact you "underponate" (the inward motion is limited) may simply mean you have stiff/high arches, so you don't necessarily need stable shoes, probably just shoes with a decent amount of padding to help take the edge off the impact forces, which your foot isn't doing by pronating.

This exercise gives me pain between the shoulder blades weird enough. I'm thinking of quitting it. It's a uncomfortable feeling leaning one elbow. I also do the Ab wheel rollout , knees version, but all the way out. No problems there. Bird dog also. I had this annoyance regularly in the past also with the barbell/dumbbell pullover. Right between the shoulderblades, the discs I figure... But that exercise is the past , same reason as skullcrushers. Gave trouble to the elbows (after doing it for 26 years). 54 years old here..
@ElevateSportandSpine
@ElevateSportandSpine 2 жыл бұрын
If any exercise causes pain that makes you want to stop, it’s best to listen to your body. Hard to say if it’s a disc issue or not, but it certainly seems like there could be an issue with mobility in that area, or stability in your shoulder blade. You should have someone take a look at it!

@ElevateSportandSpine
@ElevateSportandSpine 2 жыл бұрын
You kind of nailed it in your comment. The stretch is really meant to hit a lot of different muscles all at once. The benefits are that it can help with blood flow to those areas, reduce pain and tightness in them, and help you identify areas that could possibly benefit from more targeted work. It is very difficult to say how long it will/should take to see improvements in range of motion with any stretching routine, but I would stay at it for at least 8-12 weeks and see if it starts to change. If it is improving, then keep going. If not, you may need to try something else. Hope that helps!

Hi! It can be tough to nail that down without being in person to work with you. You can try regressing the side plank to where you are doing it with bent knees instead of straight legs.
