I made these a second time and this time the candy wouldn't stick to the pineapples and my fruit was defrosting before I could coat them all. How did do this without them melting and what did I do wrong this time there my candy wouldn't stick 😢?

I have been baking cakes and every other dessert for over 35 years, but i have never made cake pops....that will change this weekend. I was asked to make them for a baby "sprinkle". I love cake decorating and everyone assumes I've done these before. Hopefully with your wonderful instructions i will be a master of these and impress everyone with my "skill". Haha! If they only knew! I have watched about 5 videos and thought...there has to be a better way. That looks disgusting! Then i watched yours and the cake pops looked more like a truffle on a stick. My search is over and i crown you the winner of the best cake pop tutorial 👏You made it look so simple. I just hope i can get mine as smooth and pretty as yours. I will send pics if i get it right...but not if i don't.
