I worked at Sears Tower in Chicago for 16 years, and lunched often at its Skydeck. In Manhattan, I've been to the tops of the WTC North Tower & the Empire State Building. But I will never again go to the top of ANY skyscraper ... not out of fear, but out of respect for the 9/11 victims, especially the poor souls who jumped. May G-d rest them always.

The sad thing for me is that so many people went to those buildings that day to do exactly what these folks are doing. Just to tour the site. But they couldn't see the evil baring down on them. If I were in New York that day I probably would have been on the highest floor in that building. Just to see the world from up there.
