My dad is from a very small town in NC called Weeksville. During his 20's i think, when he was living with a few other guys, he lived next to an abandoned rotting 1800's farm house. One day while he was leaving his house to go to work, he looked at the farmhouse and in the second story window he say a lady. That's already creepy, but the creepiest part is that due to neglect, the second story of the house fell through, so there was no possible way to get to or even stand in that window. Another story from that same time is that there as a supposed "Ghost Horse" and as my dad calls it, the "White Horse", and that if you saw it, you were cursed with bad luck. My dad's roommate while mowing the lawn saw the white horse, and a few weeks later, was in a nearly fatal motorcycle accident. Another story from the area is about the Great Dismal Swamp National park, probably one of the scariest national parks in the US. My great-granddad lived in a house on the border of the swamp. One night, one of his dogs went missing, and he went into the swamp alone to look for it. At one point looking for the dog, he turned around to see a floating lamp directly in his face. He ran out of the swamp, and never found the dog. To add there have been many many sighting of floating lights in the swamp. Love you guys!
