Well to be fair, if anyone is in full costume it's kind of hard to tell who is who. But it's also people who are curious about things that show up and check things out - and I'd say in that instance it's def. mostly males doing that one.

As a bi-guy; I see this as an absolute win. Regardless, the furry fandom is very LGBT friendly so yes, it attracts a lot of gay/queer people and a lot attend just to hang out with their online friends as well as doing what horny people usually do, especially when alcohol is involved. It's also very difficult to tell who is what gender/sex when they're moving around in full suits or even just with heads on.

Two years ago my wife and I had an early flight out of O’Hare so I booked a hotel close by. I had no idea that the Midwest fur fest was happening the same weekend literally a block away. We didn’t sleep at all that night because of the constant sounds of howling, screeching, and fucking in that hotel. Needless to say I have a general disdain for furries after that night.

@@SpectralAjax It has nothing to do with furries specifically though - any large enough convention is like that. Maybe less owling or screeching I suppose, but fucking and other sounds yes. Hell I went to E3 about 10 years ago and it was one of the most chaotic nights I've ever experienced and I heard some sounds that night....the sounds.
