That remote pickup of tactical is going to be a nightmare for players against seasoned vets of controller class players. I get they wanted to give new players a step up, but it is going to be nuts in professional sports. Why not just allow that passive for players up to level 20 or something.

It's just picking up, it's not really about placing it anywhere. Though it will be nice having six caustic traps out and being able to put them somewhere safe for when you need them.

I think the best part of the new season (besides the change to battle pass purchases) is gonna be the bot lobby. My son loves playing Fortnite but Apex is a different beast. He constantly wants to play with me cuz it’s my favorite game, but doesn’t have the necessary skills yet to maintain a fight aside from TDM matches. This will help him hone his craft and allow us to be able to play together finally, which is great to be able to enjoy the game with my kids 👌🏽

They have nerfed the average controller player to oblivion. It’s a terrible decision. Catering to the whining pro players just to alienate the vast majority of base players just seems dumb to me. Aim assist may be OP in the highest lvl of play, but it going to make playing the game for the average player unbearable. Numbers will drop quickly if it is going to be a bad as it sounds. Incoming the dumb “get good” comment in 3….2….1…

Look at the top players.. theres no crazy movement. Aim and strat is what matters.

I agree with this statement wholeheartedly. Most of the majority of the player base doesn’t play at that competitive level. So for the other 90% of the player base you have people Hopscotch all over the fucking map An insane directions, which is almost impossible to track, but sure let’s nerf aim assist and make a majority of the players have to try to get used to something completely new

@@ilootgames If you are referring to ALGS level players who hole up in defensive positions in tight quarters.. then yes, aim and strat are what matters. If you are referring to the games that the other 99% of the players join.. movement is the difference maker.

@@ilootgames I’ll give you that one which is very factual. If that is indeed the case, then they realistically should just do something to both sides not just Aim assist. Movement 100% is a massive advantage in this game. I don’t care how good your aim is The directions that these guys move in, it’s almost impossible to track. so don’t just go Nerf one thing and allow the other. At one point this was going to be removed and everyone cried so badly about it that it stayed. It’s just an extremely one-sided thing at this point.
