When respawn introduced revenant, we thought this was going to be the most badass character and play as menacing as seen in the trailers, season 4 dropped and he was underwhelming, this new small trailer with a showcase of his abilites is what i would of expected back then, that is definitely as aggressive Revenant should of been, hes been not a viable option for ranked for a long time apart from revtane but that was gone quick, this rev will get a nerf definitely if youre in ranked, You'll see rev absolutely everywhere, I'll miss being the only rev in ranked lobbies but at least rev got the love he surely deserves, a very skirmisher playstyle and a very good solo character for sure, the movement gods are going to love revenant and we'll be able to create a unique playstyle rather than silence the lifeline then totem to kill her then the rest of the team, now you can third party with your ult and jump out of there if it gets hairy. Or, jump into a fight then activate ult and wipe people and shield swap (not really necessary now) then onto the next person while your shield is still up, absolutely fun to see these abilites, you're having a shot at trying to single out or engage in a 3v3 and then you suddenly get a knock, a rev octane pad to instantly get there and finish the fight before a third comes is brutal, activate your ult then wait for the third party, 25 seconds gone by and you have your tactical again, find a knock or solo push while you have your ult on and jump over to find a knock while your team tries to reset and come get you after tou knock 2 because they didnt expect a revenant solo pushing. Really some mindgames are utilised in his new playstyles and approach to fights, heck get Alliance Effect on revenant then we'll see if he is truly for comp or just a pubs/ranked soloq character. Im not sure how I'll play out but i hope he is maybe just about 50/50 in the balanced department because if he gets nerfed heavily then its alright, no one is expecting a low health rev to run away, jumps on a build, scales it and then wall runs to another and maybe have an opportunity to jump off the wall?? Who knows, but im excitied!!

It really just depends on the cool down time on his abilities in my opinion whether or not he's gonna be broken because if u get like 2 ults in full br game then he wouldnt be too broken but if u get his ult super often then I could see him be meta

Very aggressive and not a team player. A whole team has to be setup around his weaknesses and the Rev player has to be really good. I don 't see him being meta in Pro Play

This is giving me ptsd with gibby in his prime when he had 75 hp and no bleed through on his gunshield. Now we have a 2.0 version that is fueled with hatred and redbull, leaping at you like Michael Jordan if you're 1 shot... and he and his team will know for certain 😂.

I main Rev but I find this to be extreme rework. Fortunately, no longer will there be a team waiting why the totem for your return, but on the other hand, what legends are going to counter that aggressive of an attack if not Watson fences and ash snare? I'm for balanced legends, not OP ones. Triple stack Squads will be Seer/Rev/Octain just wait. You'll blink and they'll be shittin on you

The ultimate is a terrible idea. The ultimate should have always been the shadow Royale forms. For your whole team. To use as a scouting or sabotage tactic. No guns. Just melee. It would be so much more fun if they just did that. Maybe give them 100 or 80 hp too. The leap tactical is pretty dumb, you already have pathfinder octane and vantage basically able to do that already. His tactical should have been something else more original. I’d say probably the ability to stick to a wall that you’re climbing and able to shoot from there. Getting unique vantage points on enemies. Making him a sniper and scout legend with a fun useful and unique kit.
