Two questions! Which label maker did you use for this? And where is that spatula from?? Is it the MUD stainless steel palette knife? I think I’ve narrowed it down to that one, and can’t find a dupe for it anywhere!! 😭 and its almost 30 bucks after shipping on their site which is crazy!

I’m curious about needing to use the mesh part again? I’ve seen you depot these type of shadows two ways… this way and the way you put glue in a metal pan and push them into the pan. Have you noticed a difference between the two ways? Or gotten feedback from clients on which way is better/doesn’t work etc? Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge about depotting/condensing! Its changed my depot game! One thing I do that I haven’t come across on your channels/pages is once the shadows/powders have been depotted, I put the label on the metal disc and then lay a clear label circle over the sticker to ensure it doesn’t degrade if its in a palette and I have to spray alcohol on them to sanitize! Plus it just looks so clean and professional. I’ll have to share it on your IG sometime! Thanks again Grish!! ❤️

I was sad to see the comments where turned off for the repotting of the cream shadows. I found it fascinating and loved the video and wanted to thank you because I learned something. I finally bought a few single shadows from Victoria Beckham and never had single shadows b4. They have a cap under the cap to help keep them longer but for $36 a pop I feel like I should probably depot them because idk how long it will take me realistically to use them. I don’t like waste. Thanks for showing me something new.

This was beyond smart. I love that she’s not attached to the packaging even tho I am lol, but I 100% agree with her reasoning for it. I just would have wished to have seen the palette completed to see the range of concealers against one another. Otherwise this was very cool to watch.

Is that paper you have between the palette and the heater? Or paper towel? Can I just put the palette onto the heater directly? Thanks for this great video! I hate this packaging too! Waaaay too heavy.
@grishanroof48973 жыл бұрын
You can put it directly. But since the bottom of her palettes are metallic, the plastic surrounding it also melts and you don’t want that to melt on top of your heater. It will look dirty forever

The Zpottter helps because you really need to take the palettes tray apart for the other heating method to work. Love the eyeshadows but they are soo heavy for travel for the large one. I travel with he quads ok. ;)

SL G you have to depot the cream first. Because if you apply heat, it will melt. Once the cream is out, then you can proceed by adding heat. ND pans de-pot easily

Jess. Rodr heat doesn’t affect powders. Also, I don’t heat them up too long. Only long enough to loosen up the glue. 😉

Hi, I have a question about your decluttering spatula; it has a thin narrow point, which makes it easy to work with compare to the common spatulas. I'd be grateful if you let me know which spatula you're using.

It's not a case of anyone successfully deporting Pat McGrath palettes, the question is why would anyone deport her palettes?
@grishanroof48974 жыл бұрын
JB Bej the goal is for professional makeup artists to be able to carry her eyeshadows without the very heavy packaging.
@jbbej4284 жыл бұрын
@@grishanroof4897 then why buy it? Those palettes are designed for the experience, part of the cost of the palette is the packaging so deporting the shadows just defeats the purpose that is why your video is the only one on KZbin.
@grishanroof48974 жыл бұрын
JB Bej are you a professional makeup artist?
@grishanroof48974 жыл бұрын
JB Bej i will not deprive my clients the experience of using PMG Labs products but at the same time, I will not carry all that unnecessary weight and packaging. If u were my client, should i not give i the opportunity to use luxury brands just because someone thinks they should not be depotted? All my clients deserve it 😉
@jbbej4284 жыл бұрын
@@grishanroof4897 my initial response was to the question you asked in your video; you asked why there are no videos of people deporting Pat McGrath palettes. I don’t get the glue concept? You’re contaminating the product no? I wouldn’t do that. What about a glue dot sticker?
@grishanroof48975 жыл бұрын
Sol4Real i’m adding it to the bottom so it stays on the mesh and reinforce stability. Glue dot will work the same. People don’t have to do this step if they feel like they’re “contaminating” it. The reason i used glue is because there was already glue there to begin with.
@Lameaish3 жыл бұрын
@@grishanroof4897 Also i feel very few ppl uses til the bottom of the pan before it expires or we get bored so if by this way we are able to use our eyeshadows more whats best we can expect than to just not reaching them due to being singles n getting to waste totally.
@jaejae1533 Жыл бұрын
The glue is non-toxic, so its not “contaminating” them. Most eyeshadows, especially baked or Macs dazzleshadows etc all have some kind of glue to hold the shadows in place 🥰
