I know the thought of depotting Pat McGrath Eyeshadows is scary because they're not exactly cheap. But if you're a professional Makeup Artist already carrying so much, adding these to your kit is just impractical because they're too bulky and heavy. Niloofar Ghazizadeh it’s called a “weeding tool.” You can buy from most craft stores.

The Zpottter helps because you really need to take the palettes tray apart for the other heating method to work. Love the eyeshadows but they are soo heavy for travel for the large one. I travel with he quads ok. ;)

Is that paper you have between the palette and the heater? Or paper towel? Can I just put the palette onto the heater directly? Thanks for this great video! I hate this packaging too! Waaaay too heavy.

You can put it directly. But since the bottom of her palettes are metallic, the plastic surrounding it also melts and you don’t want that to melt on top of your heater. It will look dirty forever

Sorry for the late reply. It’s called a Z-potter by the brand Z-Palette. It is similar to an induction stove. I believe it’s only 120v though.

It's not a case of anyone successfully deporting Pat McGrath palettes, the question is why would anyone deport her palettes?

JB Bej the goal is for professional makeup artists to be able to carry her eyeshadows without the very heavy packaging.

@@grishanroof4897 then why buy it? Those palettes are designed for the experience, part of the cost of the palette is the packaging so deporting the shadows just defeats the purpose that is why your video is the only one on KZbin.

JB Bej i will not deprive my clients the experience of using PMG Labs products but at the same time, I will not carry all that unnecessary weight and packaging. If u were my client, should i not give i the opportunity to use luxury brands just because someone thinks they should not be depotted? All my clients deserve it 😉

@@grishanroof4897 my initial response was to the question you asked in your video; you asked why there are no videos of people deporting Pat McGrath palettes. You can do whatever you want with your palette, I have all of her palettes apart from the first one and would never dream of deporting any of her palettes.
