The screws provided with the wheelie bar are to short you can fit much longer ones in than what it comes with it just messure the depth with a allen landed on mine from 6 feet plus in the air buncha times and they are holding strong

Great find and content. It looks like the new esc has 4 ports, older were 3. Shared to the fb group after your initial post. Snipping those tabs is the first thing you do. Lots of info in the group about moving the light connectors so they stay on.

Crawler mode engage! Thank you kindly! Also, it's super easy to take the tail lights out and 1. put the brake led on top and the signal led on the bottom (like a real Cherokee), 2. snip one of the wires on the rear signal leds, 3. get some Tamiya clear red and clear yellow to paint those rear lenses! I also scaled mine out with some metallic Jeep badging, etc. etc.

Amazing video! I was wondering if you would be interested in being commissioned to build a similar model for me. I’m new to the rock crawling scene but absolutely love this build. After seeing your videos it seems like you have a ton of experience building/tuning the platform. If you’re interested, please reach out and we can discuss the details!

Thanks for the honest review, was really thinking about getting one that's why I put the review on . I really don't want to put out $600 - $700 and then on top of that keep draining my pocket to keep it a float. It's advertised as a basher boat I would expect more from it also especially for the price . A little disappointed cause it looks really cool. But you can only use certain times of the year also . Mostly gonna be a shelf queen . My bashers get their use believe me.

good evening, thank you for your vidéo One question, I have a lot of boats and I grease the transmission hoses every time I go out. It's normal For this one, even if it's a rigid shaft, you still have to lubricate it But on the instructions, they don't say how often And the problem is that you have to dismantle everything each time and it's long and restrictive if you have the answer to my question thank you very much and have a good evening
@rcilluminati268 күн бұрын
Ive only lubricated mine a few times and ive done it using oil on the shaft so that it runs down into the bushing. So far it seems to be working. I was thinking of adding a small grease fitting port the the tube.

In this video did you leave the 8mm spacers off? The video says stock or am i misunderstanding?

Video says stock wheel hex's at 3:54. Wondering if you removed the aftermarket brass ones you installed from episode 3?
@rcilluminati268 күн бұрын
I had to watch it myself to figure it out. lol Running video was filmed first with stock hex. When I filmed the mods video right after, I had just received the 8mm hex so I added that to the video but they were not on during the running video. I would def recommend if you have any rubbing/clearance issue but it will really depend on the wheels you choose

Nice! Out of the box, Baja Rey or UDR? From my location in central Texas, that pile of beautiful rock free clean dirt is GOLD!!!
@rcilluminati2612 күн бұрын
Hmmm. Tough choice. I’d say it depends on how big an area you have to run it. Both are really fun but the UDR needs quite a bit of space to open it up. The Baja def holds up better to abuse. The dirt pile is everything I’ve been looking for. lol Open land is hard to come by here in NJ. I couldn’t believe I found this 10 min from my house. It’s town property but they seem cool with people bringing there. Hope they don’t find a use for this soil anytime soon

Rear shock tower geometry is the main problem , xmaxx is same way but doesnt sag in rear. I just used sledge rear springs on mine the stiffedt ones , seemed to fix it. With 80wt oil landed better on jumps

The maxx is horrible at air control esp compared to kraton 4s. Figured it would be comparable to xmaxx just smaller but its not at all, very unpredictable

Just such a gorgeous truck. I usually go with the RC4WD tires with a better foam or insert. They just seem to have all the real scale licensed tires. Like you say, it’s not a wall climber and that realism of the actual tread pattern is worth the slip…😂 and warning. Got to get my D90 project going!
