Traxxas UDR 2WD vs 4WD? Fun was had

Accidentally turning my UDR into a 2WD prerunner.

Man that looks just as fun in rwd as 4wd. I have a different brand set of front axle shafts, and at full down travel, they was binding a little bit. When you roll it, it can over-extend the suspension down travel and the axle shaft can come loose, then when it hits up travel during the roll, it can snap shafts. I installed some limit straps on the front suspension, only limiting 2mm to 3mm travel, but I haven't had a single issue out of my axle shafts since doing that.

Hmmm, I do have different arms in front, maybe I need to do limit straps too. Didnt think of that, thanks

I use rpm fan on my motor, tiestraped on the side opposite the batterie tray works really well, cool video can't wait for more 🤙🇬🇧

Some RCs are designed for flips/stunts ….but I agree….use the RC for what it was designed for! UDR was made for this video! 😊

Yeah man, I’m trying to get realistic shots. I must’ve hit those berms 20 times trying to g to get it right. Lol For some reason the truck even sounded realistic in the opening shots. I need more of that.

It looked great in 2WD. I'm guessing that 4S would be all you'd need for 2WD. I'd love to see you try it on some firmer dirt to see if it torque steers much. Nice work on the video!

I had the same issue with my UDR. Not sure how it happened because I was just driving it down off a small embankment. Didn't even catch air. But I replaced it and haven't had anymore issues other than leaking shocks. Love the UDR
