Could you include a thoracic rotation recommendation?

1) Look up the frost line of your region. You want to dig your hole deeper than the frost line to prevent frost wedging, which will eventually push your posts up and out over time. The frost line does not mean permafrost despite what some of those comments below say... some states simply freeze during the winter and some others don't; it's the freeze-thaw cycle that causes the most damage. 2) Add another 4-6" of depth to add pea gravel at the very bottom of the hole BEFORE putting the post in. This allows for water drainage to minimize the amount of pooling water at the very bottom, which would otherwise accelerate rotting. Pressure treated wood is not impervious to rot.

Hi, I want to hang a boxing bag. Could I hang it from a pull up bar or would you recommend doing a hangman style stand instead?I like the idea of having two posts cemented for more stability thats why i asked. Thanks

Going to use 6x6s that are heavy af, so I think I’ll definitely need more quickrete!

What was the overall time it took to complete?
@sebastianspiller1312Ай бұрын
Friend of mine told me to use motor oil on the part of the wood that goes underground to prevent it from rotting. I'd add a plastic bag on top of that before pouring concrete

Im making one with what i have. Untreated 4x4s. And two solid heavy duty shelf brackets. So I should be able to switch out bars sizes by just sliding them through the brackets.

Hope you guys keep making videos like those on this Channel. I Think you could still use strength side to upload them, just to aim at a broader audience. Just make a playlist for this type 🫶

i'm doing my research for this project and seeing opinions that wood will still rot within the concrete and not last more than a few years. anyone use 4x4 post brackets and just drill into a flat surface of concrete? thx!

Ditch notifications, it helped me have more control about when and how often I check my phone
@annisoderlund3403 ай бұрын
Good stuff, what I’ve noticed with conscious phone use is that I am less likely to be influenced outside of myself. By conscious phone use I mean not using social media apps (instagram, facebook etc. Only allowing Gmail and educational youtube videos) Helps focus on what comes from within.

Hi, very interesting video and most appreciated: many pros and many cons put forward. Thanks! My use of a smart phone is very old school: occasional navigation and to lookup something on the spot. Otherwise it is still just plain old calls and messages. So maybe I could ditch it all together and simply PREPARE IN ADVANCE for my travels and GO TO THE LIBRARY MORE. :) As always, thanks!

Nice to see a video that highlights both the pros and cons of not using smartphones. For me, I average about two hours a day of phone time (mainly WhatsApp, KZbin and Maps). Its good to acknowledge all the positives such as keeping me connected to people I might otherwise not stay as well connected to, exploring quality content around my interests (fitness, film, sport), and navigation and finding restaurants and things to do in new places. But then I do find myself clicking on pointless KZbin shorts that don't really serve me any purpose, or reaching for my phone when I don't really want or need to during moments of downtime. I feel I have a generally healthy relationship with my phone (don't use social media except KZbin and WhatsApp, all notifications except calls are silent, and most notifications like emails don't appear on my lock screen). But I still have improvements to be made so I'm not as attached to it. I have found the most helpful thing is constantly asking myself whether what I am doing/seeing on my phone is serving me any real purpose. If yes, great carry on. If no, seek to break those habits.

I started limiting social media to 30 mins via my phone settings, I find myself looking for things to do more often, but I switch scrolling for reading, drawing or personal work. Social media can still be helpful and a source of creativity and inspiration for me- As long as you follow the right accounts

A smartphone is a must for my work. I bought a Galaxy Flip 6. The rule is on days off I don't flip it open and only use the cover screen to still text and call friends. Works a treat.

3 or 4ft in the ground for stability and use 2 stakes per post hammer and push them in the ground diagonally up against your post then screw do it on both sides and it'll keep it completely stable and level while the concrete is drying

Good stuff! I live in the nordics and during winter the lenght of daylight is only 4-5h a day so yes spending that time outside is very essential! Remember back in childhood when you’d go to school and it’s dark and you’d come out and it’s dark again, took a toll on the mental and physical health…
