Hey, an overweight ex very active 60 year old here.. Injuries etc stopped the old svhool physival grind training and always wanted flexibility and movement training but have never found a plave til now.. Most of the "older" active people I have met all have and have for a while had stretch routine.. 80 year old skiers and dancers. All move like youngsters and have a real healthy look about them.. So, Im glad I came here.. Will be following.. And progressing.! Cheers, (UK)

I like that you said learn how to bend at the hinge. I have to make a very conscious effort to bend at my hip and not misusing my back.

Giving this a crack for 3 months. Been focusing too much on Ashtanga yoga every day and feel like my lack of flexibility is making the practice a net-zero value endeavour. Love the channel and the format you guys found here: cuppa tea, passive language, focus on the long run. Cheers guys.

Very grateful for this video guys! Personally, I'm very interested in program design generally, and this video is super helpful in learning your thinking behind designing a program. Big fan of these longer form videos 🙏🏼

Guys, those conversations are so valuable. Although I’ve been training consistently for nearly a decade, I’m only at the beginning of my flexibility journey because I’ve only just started to realise how key flexibility training can be! That realisation hit me when I started practicing the press to handstand and saw that my hammies were tight as hell 😅

Thanks for this. Lots of valuable information here. It really helps to know the why behind each stretch. And also knowing to expect different levels of progress for each stretch.

You guys rock! I love the rationale behind certain movements. Finally, someone explained how the scapulae should be positioned during butcher's block. In every tutorial I've watched so far, the instruction was to "open the shoulders", without explaining what that actually means. Thank you so much for this program. It is much appreciated.

haha the scap thing took me YEARS to get down

I will be starting your mobility routine from tomorrow morning! 11th September. Will share my progress monthly here. I have integrated few more resistance band exercises for my weak rotator cuff. I am going to kill it! I will jolt dow the progress in my notes! Thank you brothers for this routine! God bless you both!

I had a successful 3 level cervical fusion close to 2 years ago. I’m in my mid sixties and have had a high level of flexibility; however this has decreased significantly pre and post surgery. My trapezius muscles are overactive and my rhomboids, hips and knees are very tight. Hoping to modify this as I go and look forward to lengthening and stretching my muscles. Thanks so much for this -

This is awesome, guys. I'm a 20 year veteran cop and my back has seen better days. Your content has really helped me start moving again. Salute 🫡

This video is perfect for a complete understanding of the depth of each stretch. Thank you for creating it. I have one question: I just started these routines, I am on week 1, and I was doing dead weight hang every day (my level is still with support, not entirely hanging). Should I not do the hang every day or do you think it is ok to do the hang every day and the routine twice a week. I am very tight on my shoulders.

Is it possible to get injured performing this routine? In some stretches I feel a sharp pain instead of that stretching feeling, does it mean I have to do an easier progression? Or it's normal

Nice PNF content...Your hair and beards look like it could use some hydration, try avocado oil for 30 mins and maybe a trim. Jefferson curls are monnnnney! What's the max weight you can do?
