For me.. his greatest ever is the A5 in Painkiller.

For whatever reason historically Natural speaking voice Baritones have always possessed the sweetest richest Falsettos(male altos aka Counter Tenors). For my taste tenors who venture into falsettos can sound a bit shrill or overly feminine (Sopranistas). My2c. What a legend.

Without James Brown, there would be no funky as it is known today, no Michael Jackson, Prince, or Bruno Mars... One of the most important and original singers of 20th century

It's fascinating how much he sounds like Michael Hutchence when he belts, cool voice!

Awesome range, not "only" pitchwise but also styleweise, but those low notes seem pretty questionable. You can tell that he's not really the voice type for such notes. He doesn't have rich low notes and most of the very low ones don't have much tone (plus seem to lack vocal fold closure) - except for the few ones that are subharmonics of course, those sound, of course, richer. They do really sound awesome and it's a pretty advanced technique to manage, which is, once again, very impressive, but rangewise it's still subharmonics

Only Daniel Heiman can beat the power of Dio, and with more melodic timbre (preference is a question of taste), perfect passaggio and control, maybe the perfect mix of Rob Halford and Ronnie James Dio. Is out of this world. For me, only Dimash can beat his technique, but in metal, never has been a singer with his capabilities, timbre and consistance. If you dont know him, listen: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3iboI2FgdmWfas

I'm going off on a limb and saying he's pretty good. I know, a wild take. But I feel this one.
CRAZY high notes, sounds like Graham Bonnet on helium! Love finding out about less discussed voices like this one, he is simply effortless up there.
@Definitelycreated3 ай бұрын
Yeah man , he's a higher set version of Graham Bonnet who more of a heavier lower tenor, also hes darker high tenor like James Moore, James brown, Paul Stanley, Tobias sammet, Glenn Hughes, Kevin dubrow, Daryl cole, Bruce Dickinson

Other late-period examples include: “House Of Pain” from Bananas has some screamed G5’s. “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye” from Rapture Of The Deep has a screamed E5 that goes to a G5. It’s before the bridge (“I did a bad thing…”). “Vincent Price” from Now What?! has a screamed F5 at the very end that goes to a D5. “Howling dogs, creaking doors, and zombies to diiiiiie for!”

Nope! I found a higher range 😂 Proud to be loud LIVE 88' video. Ending of the song somewhere around 6:52 I think its a C#6
@yesterdayproductions10193 ай бұрын
Little Richard had a great voice but THERE IS NO WAY he ever screamed anywhere near an F#6. You are WAYYY off. For example, on the earlier version of Lucille, he sings a Bb5 and then carries it up to a C#5, NOT C#6. You are ADDING an octave onto it. You got the right note but the wrong octave which you have done n other songs in the video. LOL
