I haven't burnt a glow stick but i did burn a glowing star. There's still green sparkles on my desk if i shine a UV light.

Why does the glow stick not glow as in the remains?
@OnboardingInformation18 сағат бұрын
Because the chemicals have leaked out and been burned
@IgorL-rv1mn19 сағат бұрын
Spray it with wasp spray and over a anti bug net with electricity running through it to create a microwave, I just want to see some one hallucinate, it's called wasping.

love the channel name lol, is there a difference between setting on fire used up glow stick vs completely new?
@OnboardingInformationКүн бұрын
Thanks so much 🤣
@OnboardingInformationКүн бұрын
Yes there is a difference between the two as the unused has chemicals in an unmixed environment where as the used glow sticks the chemicals reaction has already taken place so they are much less reactive

the chemical inside the glass tubes is hydrogen peroxide, and its pretty concentrated. an oxidizer like that next to a flame will make it so much more powerful.
@OnboardingInformation2 күн бұрын
Very informative, many thanks
@whatevernamegoeshere36442 күн бұрын
It's 70-80% water, do you think it will make MORE fire? lol
@user-pr6ed3ri2k2 күн бұрын
Peroxide is not a strong enough oxidizer to counteract the effect of water. There is a video on KZbin by Explosions and Fire showing that you'd need 60% or greater peroxide for it to have no noticeable effect, and 80% for it to be a strengthener.

This is a science related channel so we must push the boundaries of science to get specific results, just like in science labs when you mix chemicals and use bunsen burners etc.

here’s another hint: don’t make videos to long, ppl will eventually swipe away. If they swipe away it will lead to a lower audience retention. Ex. If (on average) a person swipes away after 10 seconds of a 20 second video, that is a 50% audience retention. A low retention will have KZbin not recommend the video, as KZbin thinks it must be a bad video. If it’s shorter, ppl will stay for a higher percent of time, leading KZbin to recommend it more. Other than that, amazing video! Flashing lights really are pretty captivating 😮
