I started OP a little over 2 months ago at this point, and did not know shit about this series other than 1. It had over 1000 episodes 2. The memes that came out until then (ex. The one piece is real!!) 3. Doflamingo’s drip would knock me out conquerer’s haki-style if I ever saw it irl 4. Luffy had some cloud powers or some shit and I started it in between college semesters (college is too busy to have a job, so I had all the time in the world) and made it a rule to never read the episode names, never watch the openings, and always skip the end, so it was a continuous waterfall of unadulterated OP. SPOILERS - I genuinely thought Ace was going to make it, especially after Bon Clay’s sacrifice up UNTIL the vivre card fell from Luffy’s body. I paused the show IMMEDIATELY with my hands over my head, and just started saying my goodbyes. Immediate despair at that moment. 2. I kept believing that Zoro was going to be incapacitated for a long time before they reached the new world because there was just no breaks, the man was constantly on the brink against his opps. 3. Enel was gunna come back in a crazy way, and become a huge menace. Somehow. Of course, I didn’t know that he is just chilling on the moon, but I will continue to cling on to this DAY. But yeah, I really enjoyed all of OP, and moments like Brook learning to be excited about new things in his life again, Robin’s resolution obviously made me bawl my eyes out. All of the straw hat’s stories were beautifully written. The ROMANCE of One Piece just makes you go out and appreciate the big and small moments of your life. Like, it makes you want to go out and make the most of people around you and how far you’ve come. Came in expecting nearly nothing, and came out not regretting spending all that time.

I love the comical goofy view/commentary on one piece arcs and the kakashi stuff, awsome. i was hooked from the first videos a little while back and even sent them to friends, cause what did i say, awsome! I'm watching one piece since 1999 or 2000- when it first aired in greece, and i was devoted until i found it again online a few years later and picked up- but i never took up a manga, so there are many videos i avoid unfortunatelly. but! my only "complain/s" are that 1. These super long videos drag too long and lose focus, and either I lose interest til they begin the topic of the caption, or they drag on on otehr stuff, or the mentioned caption comes many minutes in, and it is overwheliming - at least for me-to start a movie-lng video when i watch them to have some fun for 5-10-20 mins. 2. briefly, I know many many people nowadays at last love anime and manga, but stiil anytime there is a woman/girl involved i am in some kind of awe. this is a super stupid "superstition" but this is just me not having met girls liking manga/anime. 3.in this day and age that our focus spam is probably tiktokesque, so what is that, 5 secs? no one will read this, no prob, and it is harder to follow an hourlong video. 3. I thought this was gonna be a buggy "loveletter".... it's been 20' as i write this novel apparently..... now buggy came up, i cant keep up. I heard some sanji love, finally, someone else loving this -my favourite character since i was like 8- i love all strawhats and i really hate the "fights" between zoro/sanji/jimbei etc. thriller bark, everyone seems to say is a bad arc... I really liked it tbh, there are too many nice and funny and serious and actionpacked things... i get some stuff, moria is not the perfect villain and he is sitting on his butt tbh, but for me it was a pretty fun arc.
