Kevin nor Dana knew how they should be in that time. Slavery was taught in school when I was growing up and like many things now are taken away. That is a shame

I would love to see more series. Getting into a series you like and then it is gone sucks.
@minimonstera5 күн бұрын
I didn't watch the series, but, after listening to most of Kindred via audiobook, it's weird that Kevin and Dana couldn't have just been married in the series. That could've been a better reason to sell her brownstone and move to L.A. Like, they were chasing their dreams together. Dana was also fully aware of who were ancestors were in the book, so that was also weird. The series may have done better if it was named something else, and marketed as loosely based on Kindred. Because I'm just left wondering why so many unnecessary choices were made in the series.

I personally think it's an alternate universe that Donald has created. Pretty dope if you think about it. Look at it as if it's on the same planet but in another dimension. That's Atlanta, in my opinion.

I loved the ending. An amazing cliff hanger that def would’ve brought me back for more. Dana had nothing and she wanted to be with family. It makes perfect sense to me. She’s been alone since her parents died. I loved Dana. She’s a modern young woman. Of course she’s not acting like a slave. It def should’ve been a movie and it totally needs a new season!!!!!

Wish I could learn about horrific crimes against children solely through the fictional TV reality where the child escapes and survives in the end. Like hearing the story of the abusive couple who killed their children and stopping before they successfully drive off the cliff, and inventing a reality where the children escape and go home to parents who adore them

This is one of the most moronic shows ever holy shit you can tell it was written by the bad race
@BothAuntVivs4 ай бұрын
That statement is moronic. Especially for you to judge a show by a one off standalone episode that doesn’t feature any of the main characters. I have a strong feeling your emotional response has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the show. “The bad race” which one is that?

I usually wouldn’t even give this kind of foolishness the time of day but y’all just told a bold face lie on a dead man. 😑 He gained notoriety because while many women cursed him for his views on dating with realistic expectations they also were promoting his brand for him through that outrage. While, simultaneously, willingly joining his stream just to antagonize him. Once he saw those numbers go up, he started giving people what they asked for. Also the same way he had a set of questions and opinions for women, he had a set of questions and opinions for men alike. But there also just happens to be more delusional women to call out than men as far as marriage is concerned. Stop the 🧢
@BothAuntVivs4 ай бұрын
You said a lot for someone who usually “wouldn’t even give this the time of day”. Do you honestly in your head think we should’ve introduced him with the that long ass convoluted description you just wrote. Please don’t write video scripts for a living cuz you’ll go poor and starve. We basically said a concise and palatable version of what you droned on about. We didn’t lie on anyone. At best what we said was subjective. But you really wanted to get off your little thesis and think you did something so go off. But anyone with a brain who reads what you wrote and actually watches the video will see that no one lied. But writing stupid paragraphs like this is probably the only thing that gives someone like you an erection so who am I to deprive you. Go off wit you dum ass.

@@BothAuntVivs You couldn’t hold a candle to the real aunt vivs and I don’t even have to know them to know that. I never critiqued your intro. Your subjective perspective is derived from your lack of understanding and you never had to say those things to make a good intro. But go off. Although it’s good to confirm that you have way more time than me. You wrote a soliloquy defending your vile behavior speaking ill of a dead man. Smh ✌🏾
