A fantastic update to your original brilliant video and now a really useful resource for anyone planning to do this very tough, but rewarding, trek. We did it last June / July with KE and it was one of THE great experiences of my life; (and, I've done a few 😉). Words can't adequately describe the majesty and beauty of that place, each day's views exceed the last the further up you go 🏔🏔🏔. The new commentary would have been super useful when we were prepping ourselves for the trip and, may I say, you are absolutely right to highlight the 'significant' temperature differential between the relentlessly hot first 3-4 days; (yep, 35oC when we were there also 🥵), and the well below zero nightime temperatures higher-up; Goro, Concordia and Broad Peak BC. I heeded your kind advice, (from last year), reg' rocky, cold, glacial campsites and took a good Thermarest and also a small memory-foam pillow; (an absolute winner, that I can recommend to you) - so glad that I did. BTW, kudos to you both on the Island Peak climb . This year we are going to the Chilean / Bolivian Atacama to do the Lincancabur volcano trek😬. All the best and thanks again for this amazing video. It now brings back fantastic, unforgettable memories😊

Are you feeling OK? I'm Kashmiri, Pakistan saved Kashmiris, and still trying. India has killed around 100,000 in recent decades, not to mention the Jammu genocide in 1947. Read something before commenting.

Some very good drone footage!! Shows the unbelievable scale of peaks in the Himalayas and Karakorum! You should go deep in Zanskar in the Indian Himalayas too where there are thousands of beautiful, pointy, geometrically patterned, psychedelically coloured peaks!

Fantastic video, David! It looks like you had an absolutely amazing trip, and I truly admire your video skills-they’re absolutely incredible. I can only imagine how much time, effort, and attention to detail went into creating something of this quality. Having made a similar video recently, I completely understand how challenging and time-consuming it is to capture and edit such stunning footage. Coincidentally, I also used Apricot Tours for my trip, and it’s great to see their excellent services reflected in your experience as well. Thank you for sharing this remarkable journey-it’s truly inspiring ❤

Thank you, it took a few weekend marathons to put everything together! Nice to see your video too, was interesting to see the bridge on day 1 of the trek has nearly been finished. I dream of going back one day to summit an 8000er! ❤
