was playing in Tunica many years ago....$10 crapless table ice cold and clears everyone out. I stay and kid walks up and becomes the shooter. places $12 on 6&8 and $10 PL bet. rolls for 45+ minutes. hit lots of 6&8s and points. After he clears the ATS the 1st time I put him up 5/5/5 and he clears the Small. dealer gives him $150 and he asked what thats for! Clears the ATS once and needs like the 11 for the 2nd ATS. I only pressed mine to $10. great roll by a kid that had no idea what he was doing....works like that sometimes.

Where and what casino is this
@vegasdaytripper17 сағат бұрын
all vegas MGM properties have a separate counter for each side of the bonus and allow you to bet it separately. Venetian and Wynn do not have separate counters. Don't know about Caesars but I don't think they keep a separate counter either. Fontainebleau doesn't have a separate counter BUT they do allow re-betting one side of the bonus after it hits (I think they flip the lammers over when it's going for a 2nd time around)

Enjoy your craps videos. Thought you might find this interesting: For five years, Jake Johns made a living playing the stock market. He then started to dabble in craps at a Las Vegas casino, because he found comfort in mathematics and a sureness in numbers- elements which were missing in his 12-year marriage. During one of his gaming sessions at Drake’s Diamond Casino, he encounters Holly Simmons, who makes big bets and has a unique and reckless way of throwing the dice. Attracted to the “heretic shooter,” first by her play and then by the obtuseness of her personality, he manages to forge a friendship which makes him reevaluate his marriage and his life’s goals. Will he come out richer or poorer, smarter or foolish, from his new dalliance with gambling and a mystery woman? Holly soon becomes a Las Vegas celebrity because of her shooting style and the enormous success she enjoys at the craps table. She shoots with her eyes closed, and is often seen talking to herself before throwing the dice. People are convinced that there is an outside force that is guiding her hand. Who is Holly, the reclusive resident at the casino’s hotel, and what is the story of her life? Craps aficionados will enjoy this story as much as romantics, who believe in the eternal and otherworldly aspects of true love. -- from "Journey to a Second Spring"
@MrPoetSpeak4 күн бұрын
There is a mathematical equation for the arc the dice describe in the air, I’m sure, but one has to take into account the idiosyncrasy of the shooter. Was there any real advantage to setting up the dice and throwing them in a neat way? He would like to think so, but how much more fun it was watching Holly shoot. And to be fair, she had done much better than him on all the days. On the one hand, you have a man who studies the currents and the seasonal flow of water, and on the other, you have this woman who steps into the stream without forethought or calculation. -- from "Journey to a Second Spring"

“I’m trying to work out some things in my head. Shooting dice gives me something to do.” Jake was surprised. It was as though one brick in the wall had come off. Dare he try to bring more transparency to the wall? No, that wouldn’t be fair. “I was quite confident you were going to throw another Hard 8,” he said, steering the conversation completely away from the personal. “I was too. We were both wrong. It’s the same in life. We count on some things, but they don’t always work out that way. In fact, most of the time, the wrong numbers show up.” -- from "Journey to a Second Spring"
