Thank you for this video, I really needed to sort of have a conversation (or listen!) to someone who understands me. I have very recently been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease after many years of awful gut symptoms which I talked myself into thinking were stress and anxiety related! It was only when I started developing unusual and debilitating pains all over my body and in my joints a few months ago that led me to my diagnosis. So much of what you said, I can relate to. I have over the years suffered with skin issues, eye issues, mouth ulcers and even costochondritis! I am starting my treatment next month (Infliximab infusions and Azathoprine) and I am keeping everything crossed that they will work for me and I will feel more like my normal self again.

I've just found you a few days ago, and have watched a few different of your blogs and I feel like I'm watching my own video. I To start I have Fibromyalgia, and Type 1 diabetes. Last fall 2023 I started have gastro issues. And my Gi had me do 12 stool samples. I couldnt eat anything without it going through me in a matter of 10 minutes. Constantly nauseous, same as you dont leave home with out Zofran or I Imodium. got tested for Chrohns, , Ulcerative Collitis, Colon Cancer. So I feel for you. You are so brave and awesome. Turns out I have EPI Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, I have to take about 6+ Pacreatic enzymes when I eat before I start, in the middle, and at the end. I have all the same full, feelings ,stabbing g pain, bloating. It's awful, autoimmune diseases are horrible. Right after the beginning of the year in February my Fibromyalgia had a flare up, and with in a few days I was a hot mees my spine hurt so bad I could barely move all my joints my wrists, fingers, hands, elbows, everything from head to 2, I couldn't even get out of bed. And just listening to you, I got tested for everything they thought I had a spinal infection, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and as you I got tested for Sjhogrens which is a sister disease to Lupus. I have the same severe dry eye issue, and dry mouth , I may have to have eye surgery the help the eye ducks in my eye do something , not sure what but to produce my fluid because it's so bad I'm in so much pain. They finally diagnosed me in July after so many test with another autoimmune disease Spondylitis, causing severe Arthritis. I started Humira, but with my other meds and health issues I was hvi g severe side effects. So I hd to stop after 3 shots. I see my Rheumatologist on Monday the 23rd. Sorry if this was long, hope it wasn't strange. Just watching you,I felt such a connection. Talking to my Drs, and even my my family and friends going through all this, I felt they thought I was crazy. Best of Luck to you. I wouldn't mind a response. Colleen

I can’t say whether this will be the same for you as everyone is different, but I began to feel a bit better starting around a week and a half. Active Crohn’s is a hard thing to recover from though. Even if the skyrizi inhibits the immune response right away, there’s often a lot of intestinal damage that still has to heal in order to start feeling better ❤️‍🩹 I hope you start feeling better soon though!

So he's on a tpn and back up to around 100 lbs. I wouldn't wish this on no one. But, now my wife (his mom) has Crohn's too. 2024 has been guy wrenching. Looking forward to your continued updates.

Thanks for the informative and cautionary video. I tried some hyperbaric oxygen treatments during a recent flare from ulcerative colitis. The treatments reduced my symptoms, but hyperbaric oxygen alone wasn't enough to get me out of the flare. (Prednisone tablets + mesalamine enemas got me out of my flare.) My gastroenterologist actually prescribes hyperbaric oxygen treatments to some of his crohn's patients. I suspect that hyperbaric oxygen treatments combined with mesalamine enemas could be an effective combination for many ulcerative colitis patients. This strategy could treat the disease both systemically and locally without the bad side effects from steroids. -Inflectra saved my colon and it has worked pretty well for me. But I would still like to eventually get weaned from this medicine. Perhaps someday hyperbaric oxygen will be a regular part of my health routine. We'll see!

Hi,From Calgary. I will be starting Skyrizi soon so decided to watch two of your videos. Looking forward to it. You didn’t mention anything about your diet. My insurance stopped covering my remicade so I tried Inflectra and had a bad reaction to it. Blood pressure went up to over 170. As far as diet, I would recommend, being I’ve had crohns since I was 12 now 58, that diet would help significantly. Three major ones would be all milk products, gluten, big time, caused fistula’s, and medications which would include nsaids, antibiotics and vaccines. The first two would cause instant glare ups. And the vaccines I believe are what causes crohns and many other diseases. Worst one being covid. But would abstain from all vaccines. Anyways hope that helps. Again thx for the videos and good luck with increased improvement. Not a fun thing to have. God Bless. 🙂 Kerry.

I have excellent health insurance, and I had to be hospitalized twice and on the verge of losing my colon before I finally received inflectra (which is basically remicade). It's so frustrating and difficult to fight the insurance company while you're sick! -But once I received inflectra, I started to feel better in less than a day. And I regained the weight I had lost in just a few months. I really hope you get the medicine you need soon!

Thank you so much for this, I am currently going through the process of getting diagnosed and I find it really helpful to hear other people's experiences. I have been having symptoms for many years but I always assumed it was IBS. In the past year it has gotten a lot worse so after months of putting it off, I finally went to the doctors last week. My calprotectin level came back 1300, so that's not good. I'm quite nervous about what's to come, but I guess things can only get better with a proper diagnosis and a treatment plan..

the toxic part felt very real. i feel like ive always dealt with people that blamed me for the mean things they did and at some point its easy to start believing its true and getting away from that thought is difficult especially if no one believes whats happening to you or youre unlucky in the way that you only find people who agree that its your fault. came here after watching almost all your astrology videos and needing more similar content and i did really learned from this video.thanks

I just started Skyrizi too! I had my first infusion last week and I had a rather weird possible reaction in that my lips started tingling. They’re going to continue to see what happens. It completely wiped me out though, I came home and slept the rest of the day and was pretty off kilter the next day too. I’ve had Crohn’s since I was 9 and I actually had surgery to have an ostomy placed 9 years ago and I’d been in remission since then..this is my first time getting meds again! I’ve had more extra manifestations than Crohn’s issues which led me to put me on it…some tummy aches but tons of debilitating joint pain and skin issues. I’m hopeful it helps!

Just really unsure and confused as to what i should be eating or what sort of treatment i should go through . I have been experiencing issues very similar to you since like 5 years, I have symptoms like fatigue, mood issues like anxiety, depression ,constipation(more so due to inflammed colon), just pain in the gut after eating anything burning sort of sensation throughout my gut which makes me really tired and fatigued. Did an endoscopy i had apthous ulcer in the terminal illeum just like you that you had mentioned more about in your other video. The biopsy also showed i had chronic colitis but since i dont have any sort of ulcers or aggresive inflammed tissues that can be seen in a colonoscopy my GI just diagnosed and he believes that i have IBS. Now these symptoms i have is completely debilitating i think you mentioned you had like migraine like issues for me i also experience headaches its more like swelling and i have swelling of nasal tissues hindering my breathing just really weird issues. Watching your video made me feel that im not alone and gave me hope that everything might turn out to be good. So thank you for sharing your story and i hope everything sorts out for you and become well soon.
