Wow, so they NEED the pressure to keep their bodies together, fascinating.

We need to make the Clarion-Clipperton Zone (CCZ) an absolute no-mining site. This zone is one of the largest carbon sinks in the world, but people want to mine it to get ores useful in batteries and other "green" storage devices, but they're willing to destroy the earth to manufacture them. Many aspects of deep-sea mining activity would endanger species in the Clarion-Clipperton zone; they face threats of being crushed by machinery, dispelled in sediment plumes, smothered by unsettled sediment, the loss of resources and habitat, etc. This does not include the threats posed by noise and light pollution.

It truly looks like some ghosts put sheets on themselves and started haunting the deep seas.

The only pity is that we only know a fraction of the deep-sea ecosystem and are already thinking of destroying it for "important" raw materials.

Beyond any imagination what exist even deeper! Instead of spending billions to "conquer" space we deny to explore more our planet and who knows the unknown benefits of these discoveries to our humans.

Lindas e curiosas faunas marinhas. Obrigada por postar. Seria bom se se pudesse colocar a profundidade que normalmente habitam e suas dimensões aproximadas.

Seeing the water with lots of dust and sand scattered around is like seeing the universe with lots of stars. And those deep sea creatures are aliens that flying around. Just maybe in outer space there it might be similar. Aliens are not humanoids with a green color.
