I’m honestly shocked there’s anyone familiar with CD Projekt Red who hasn’t played Witcher 3, especially after 10 years of it being out lol. I see you started it tho and that’s good, there’s very few games out there I’d give a genuine 10/10, but this is one of them. Like honestly it might be my number 1 all time.

I would recommend you to use your witcher senses more often, especially in caves and in water tunnels. Oh and Ciri has different ability too, aside from this dodge-teleporting one. I think you can use it later in a game. It's the teleporting and attacking enemy one. You use it with the same button as Geralt using his signs.

Same thing in reverse, I played the W3 from every angle and still playing on occasion, while with Cyber Punk I don't think I even passed the tutorial and I own that game for years. It just fails to pull me in but I'm still hopeful...

7:27 this trailer references a major event in the books. The battle involved three armies, with Geralt and his party trapped on a river crossing. They held it for days and it was assumed they did it out of loyalty. When the Queen asked where he was from Geralt went with his normal story- Witchers are generally orphans, with no town, family name or history so each comes up with a cover story. It just happened that Geralts claim to stem from "Rivia" put him neatly in her territories. So what was once a cover story: "Geralt of Rivia" became a real thing. Incidentally this also makes Geralt lesser nobility, which gives him a lot more access and leeway than most Witchers would have. The sorceresss is his common-law wife Yennefer of Vengerberg. Both are over eighty years old. Events just smoothly happened, like it was destiny... Or a story...

Witchers are trained in five low level spells they can cast. Aard, kind of a force field blow (you saw him use it in the first trailer with the guys hanging the girl....Geralt blew the first guy backwards), Axii, a mild mind control spell that can momentarily stun a foe or make them obey you, Quen, a forcefield around you like a shielding spell, Igni, a fire spell (you saw him used it against the flying wyvern in another trailer) and Yrden, a ring placed on the ground that slows foes and makes specters or vampires more vulnerable inside the circle. Not runes...just limited spells they can cast.

If you want better healing you should start using Swallow, I can see you even crafted it already. And man... Baron's story is one of the best in the game.

The executioners were the lesser evil. The 'female' creature was found guilty of murder and cannibalism and was given death penalty by hanging on royal decree.

I beat this game on the hardest level, not counting the rats in the sewers of novigrad, where there was a glich. Don't try to parry, but roll and dodge!

I envy you for playing w3 for the first time. Gerald is a much better written character than V, and the world presented is much more interesting due to the variety of enemies and terrain

What I would like though, is that you would raise the difficulty level, I don't know what it is now but it seems way too easy for you and as such, you don't have an incentive to use potions and bombs. I think it would be even more fun to follow if you had more of a challenge in fights.

Ahh, the Baron questline is so good. Up there as one of the best questlines in any games imo. Morally gray done right!

Man, you re doing great so far! Good to see another video, cant wait for the wednesday's one already. A few tips again: in the character menu with all the abilities, you should spend three points on delusion skill, it is one of the most useful ones, there will be many times to use it in dialogues, another thing is that you should also match the mutagens with the color of your skills because for example it strenghtens your damage if you match red mutagen with red skills, so just change the "+100 vitality" one for the red one. A tip for the playthrough of the witcher 3, most of the time, the most fun way of dealing with a quest is to do it in witcher's way, so lifting a curse instead of attacking something instantly for example, i dont want to spoil more. You're also getting really close to the point where quests will have consequences in the future, so i hope your intuition wont fail to get the good way. I'm talking about Keira's invitation questline and the next parts of the bloody baron questline. Last thing, you might be interested in looking in every trader's equipement because some of them have items that start a new quests, or might be useful in the future quests, they can sell witcher gear maps as well, witcher gear is just the best in the game, you could look into that.

I like how suspicious you are of NPCs and their stories. That's going to help you in the future, because these dudes lie all the time.

Another great epsiode, man! Don't sweat over the decisions and choose what you'd like, of course having background knowledge helps so if you're interested the characters panel in the glossary helps out a lot. At this point of the story Geralt has 8 books and two games worth of relationships with a lot of the characters in this game so if you'd like to make decisions knowing a bit more it's always cool to read their entries as you're meeting them, up to you, of course. And about the combat, you are doing fine. A lot of people have played this game numerous times and forget how many struggled a bit at the begining lol I often try to get used to one mechanic at a time when playing new games, so maybe focusing at one thing at a time, like first getting the signs down, then potions, then bombs, or something like that might help. I'm enjoying how interested you are at the world and people and looking forward for more of the story!

If you would have not killed Baron's man in the tavern last episode you could have just went straitght to baron without a secret passage

NGL, i like both Ciris faces. In W3 she looks innocent, but in W4 trailer she looks little bit more mature(She doesn't look that much older tho. People might be suprised how much different faces look in span of 2 years even by looking at own pictures) Also she is still a hotie in W4 trailer.

If you like Cyberpunk 2077 then Witcher 3 is a no brainer absolute must play!

Bestiary is your friend. Learn about monsters, craft potipns, oils, decoctions and if you wish use and upgrade signs. You can stick to one playstiyle or mix them. For example i prefer using signs but also I'm using oils, potions etc. You can repair armor at armorer and swords at blacksmith but also craft items or sell them your stuff (you missed them both in White Orchard and they have markers on map when you discover them). Buy saddlebags to increase inventory limit and just please don't sell tbem your witcher swords/armor because you can upgrade them if you find witcher diagra🎉ns. There is not right or wrong choises in this game, it's your playthrough, take your time. Because you are content creator I suggest you play main quests and some side quests on video and leave questipns marks for offline. Sorry for late and long comment.

Oh, and please loot all the bodies and houses and abandoned structures and caves and monster lairs after you destroy them. You'll find some fantastic stuff!! Lots of it you can sell for $$$$ but other stuff can be used for crafting and quests. Just don't get caught by the guards.

Just to add some back story from the books- Emhyr is Ciri's biological father, in the books he actually wanted to kidnap her, merry and make her have a child with him. So... Geralt is canonically not a fan of him. To say the least. PS. Great job with your playthrough! It's so cool to see someone who's not familiar with the game to get into it with such enthusiasm :) Remember- it's your story- don't apologize for your choices. Myself, I found some of the details, quest after many playthroughs, so it's easy to miss stuff. PPS. If you like the game I can recommend reading the books and playing other Witcher games- they are awesome as well :D

i love fromsoftware games and dark souls to death but the witcher 3 is hands down the best rpg of 2010s. Its a timeless masterpiece. all of fromsoft is a very very close second.
